Going straw man again I see. How did you get from transgender being offended by cross dressers is 25+ years to here again?
Very simple for me my man explain your point in a few sentences.
Going straw man again I see. How did you get from transgender being offended by cross dressers is 25+ years to here again?
The country is splintered because of polititard trash like you guys. Congrats on that. People who see everything through the lens of politics and cant be rational about anything. Keep whatabouting your way through life tho.
Yeah, impersonating a basketball player is the same as mocking a man with a physical disability.
They give you points on the victim hierarchy for being the village idiot? GFY too.Because you'd rather spend time with other dishonest, sanctimonious racists in the political thread. [jumpingsmile]
What point? I asked a question...Very simple for me my man explain your point in a few sentences.
What point? I asked a question...
You seem confused so ill explain. A question is something some asks to grt further information. The person asking the question the allows the person or persons being asked the question to respond. That response will then be given, which should then include the point, assuming of course one can be made. So since I asked the question, I can't really answer to provide the point. That would not logically follow.
What side have I atracked? I've not attacked or even mentioned a side. I don't stipulate belonging to a side such as you seem to be obsessed with. I am simply siding with truths, facts and logic. You and a few others have been the ones labeling and attaking anyone who disagrees eith yiu as leftist or politically manipulated or motivated.Stop pretending your aren’t a progressive nut. There’s only one type of person you EVER attack and here’s a hint.
It’s only one side.
You are as ideological as anyone here. You aren’t moderate or independent at all. You just try to pretend you are with words. But the point remains, you only attack one side.
Quit being a ***** and dancing around it I’m sick of watching you being passive aggressive toward conservatives while acting like a middle man.
No, he was actually doing WHAT HE DID thousands of times before. He wasn’t mocking a disability. Turn off the mainstream news and you might know that. He mocked COUNTLESS politicians in that SAME WAY. You’d know that if you weren’t such an ideologue.
What side have I atracked? I've not attacked or even mentioned a side. I don't stipulate belonging to a side such as you seem to be obsessed with. I am simply siding with truths, facts and logic. Well I've already detailed my stance on that a few times here.No dude, what’s you’re point about this stupid black face nonsense.
The story you are telling proves my point, not yours. How can a kid already standing in a particular place be in someone's way of walking. Did he have no other path than going through the kid? You know he did. The kid said he should have moved in order that the situation wouldn't have escalated, not because he thought he was wrong. If I'm standing on the street and you decide to walk a path that goes right through me, that's on you, not me. It's not my fault that our paths cross, it's yours. The kid did have a right to be there because he was already standing there. The kid didn't move to block his route. The adult purposely walked to where the kid was standing. The old man had no authority to walk right through the kid and expect him to move. And it's not disrespectful to stand your ground if someone intentionally goes out of there way to walk through you when you are legally standing in a spot. The Native American man was to aggressor, not the kid. The Native American man was completely wrong in how he handled the situation. Of the three groups there, the kids handled themselves better than the other two adult groups. That's not accurate either. He said initially, before the kids showed up he wasn't really bothered or offended by what the Black protesters were saying. He even said some of it was educational and had some truth to it. He said when the kids showed up some of the things became more offensive and then when the kids began doing their chants, and the situation became more aggressive, he and his group felt they should get out of middle and started marching away from the monument they were protesting at. The kids were in that direction. He did say he hoped they would distract the kids and get them away from the situation as well, but that there main goal was to get out of being in the center of the two groups, in case things escalated. When he walks that way, the main kid is in his way. That kid has even admitted that he wished he would have moved. He said he felt he had a right to be there, but looking back he felt it would have been appropriate to move out of the Native guys. As I said, I think the black guys should be getting the most heat. They were harassing kids. The kids deserve heat for being offensive to the native Americans. And the chaperones should be called out for ever thinking it was a good idea to have kids shout at grown men who are publicly harassing them. Call the cops or intervene yourself. Don't allow kids to fuel the situation.
Well I've already detailed my stance on that a few times here.
As a black person, I'm fine with people painting themselves black if they feel need, unless it becomes racially charged or insensitive. I.E. dressing as michael jordan for halloween if you're white is not a problem. Painting your face black and putting a noose around your neck is a problem. Doing it and posing with people on KKK attire, again, is not okay. Are you seeing and understanding a difference?
The country is splintered because of polititard trash like you guys. Congrats on that. People who see everything through the lens of politics and cant be rational about anything. Keep whatabouting your way through life tho.
Again, that it not accurate and not what I said. I said the natives were marching in the direction of the group of kids. A: there were lots of opening and gaps among them. B: that was that direct route away from the situation.
There was an interview of one of the other Native Americans that said the kids were chanting insults to their group, which never happened. He also said the guy with the drum asked him for his drum so he could go confront the kids and try to deescalate the situation with the Black Hebrews. The guy goes on to say he told his friend I'm going to sing with you. Then they proceeded to go to where the kids were and what happened happened.
Think about your second two sentences and let it sink in what you are saying. The Black Hebrews are known for being one of the most hateful groups that protest in DC. They are known for screaming obscenities at people near where they protest. They have outrageous ideas about the world. Yet, this guy wasn't bothered by them and thought they had educational things to say. What does that tell us about the Native American in question? Could he also be a racist just like the Black Hebrews? I can't imagine a racially unbiased person referring to that group as educational and not being bothered by how offensive they are with other people. His attitude about that group tells you a lot about him if you are willing to see it.
What is the cut off for you? At a certain point, people have to be held accountable for their actions. People who have held or demonstrated a propensity towards racist, sexist, homophobic, anti-Semitic beliefs or whatever have no place in politics or holding public office. Regardless of party!! That is a disqualifier for me.I basically agree with that.
But I don’t think kids in 1970 should have to pay for being stupid.
But there are liberals and blacks who agree 100% with what I have posted. The radical left calls them alt right adjacent and Uncle Toms respectively, because they need labels, an identity to blame.
The only rational position is to be as opposed to them as we are these photos mocking crimes against humanity. Otherwise, you are letting the inmates run the asylum.
You realize you literally just described exactly what you're doing here? All very true, then they reinforce each other via group think and then spread their misinformed world view intentionally or unintentionally on less informed public. Covington twitter fiasco was clear example of this.
It’s not good for tge nation,

You only attack one side? Stop crying loser. You couldnt name one progressive policy I support if your life depended on it because you're a lying piece of trash. Go ahead scumbag, name one ideological position I have? Oh wait, like I said, you're a lying piece of trash and can't.Stop pretending your aren’t a progressive nut. There’s only one type of person you EVER attack and here’s a hint.

But that was less than 20 years ago. In all honesty, not much has changed since then. And if that existed in small little TN town to that degree, thank of the entire nation. It's a problem. I don't even think it's always meant or even recognized by the people doing it, but it doesn't change that it still exist and is hurtful to many. And I am not saying racism exist like it did in the 60's/70's and before. Obviously with desegregation much has changed, but we have a long way to go.Not when they’re kids.
I grew up in a small town in rural Tennessee. We had a lot of racial issues. Our football team in 2001 had a come to Jesus meeting when remember the Titans came out and honestly, a lot of us were changed by that movie as corny as it sounds. Our coaches forced the whole team into a theatre in Memphis to watch it together, discuss it, and come together. And it worked. 2 of my best friends today that are black were on that team and I was jumped by both of them priorover these very issues. Lol.
It was a wild year. Lots of ignorance and misunderstandings.
We had racist language being used agaisnt all sides. We were black against white and I can still remember the hate I felt as it seemed like many of us were simply being bullied and weren’t going to take it. They probably felt the same way. I’m not from 1960, im a 90’s kid.
But friendships were forged that are still going on. I’d vote for many of them right into office today and they aren’t racist and they’d do a great job.
This is terrible what we’re doing to each other. Hate is a cycle. It never stops. And this is exactly why it never stops.
Let's find out. Give me some examples of situations where this would apply? Also you speak too generally and that’s another problem.
What’s homophobic to YOU might not be homophobia to me, or to this or that gay person.
The general tone is used as a political tool.
“WE’LL DEFINE IT AS IT HAPPENS”
This is dangerous. And as we’re seeing, it’s defined along ideological lines. The vast majority of people who’ve used “black face” are white progressives. Lol.
So define as we move. Same thing with sexual assault. Same thing with homophobic remarks.
They’ve done a damn good job though, from a tactical standpoint. A bitter and unassimilated electorate driven by bad policy with the intent to do harm, strangle holds on poor communities through incentives and poor education, and on. It’s a brilliant strategy that will work but in the very end it’s going to collapse even the wealthy elites that created this entire mess.
History will show I wasn’t on their side.
Maybe that’ll be my last word.
But that was less than 20 years ago. In all honesty, not much has changed since then. And if that existed in small little TN town to that degree, thank of the entire nation. It's a problem. The medias job is to report the news. However, they also have to sell that news and compete for viewers, so things will get over publicized and over-sensationalized as a result. That's the nature of the beast, but that doesn't change the fact that racism is still problem.
The only way this really ever gets better is if we learn to respect each other.
Let's find out. Give me some examples of situations where this would apply?
Okay, you were doing good, but let's avoid the whole conspiracy right-winger nonsense. I don't delve into all that. Left or right!
Those aren't elected officials, so no. Plus, you learned and could teach others from it. And we have pretty high demand for male teachers in the education system. But teaching, while an honor to some degree I am sure, is quite a bite less than governing or being the AG of a state. I highly doubt either would have been elected had this been public 6 months ago.We came together in a matter of weeks and it was over. When it’s over, let it die. It wasn’t widespread in the school, it was just a football team that started bad because of a few loudmouths. Our coaches didn’t play identity games or take one side or the other. They blamed all of us and worked through it with us. And it’s over. My best friend played football at Morehead, he’s black, and he is the Godfather to MY kids. He jumped me man lol.
I’d take a bullet for that guy and I battled with that guy.
If I called him the N word in 2001, should I not be allowed to ever coach football or work in a high school?
You dont live an honor culture. You dont have tge right to force people to respect you.
And name calling only hurts your cause
The vast majority of people who’ve used “black face” are white progressives. Lol.Which part is the conspiracy?
I’m not a “right winger” that’s what I’ve been trying to tell you. You’re still on that, and if a moderate sounds like a right winger to you, you’re proving my point.
Those aren't elected officials, so no. Plus, you learned and could teach others from it. And we have pretty high demand for male teachers in the education system. Soon enough I will be within my rights to throw my shoe at you for disrespecting me
I'm not saying there wouldn't be a few nut jobs that would be calling for your head, but most would live and let live after time and demonstrated change. Again, I would have a very hard time ever voting you into an important public office, but I wouldn't mind you using your experiences and growth to teach others and improve society. But my God, just think if social media had been around back then and I graduated / went into teaching and video surfaced of several incidences with me being racially insensitive.
It’s scary to think about. I haven’t lived a perfect life and people just seem to not allow any chances at all for redemption, and this is why I’m very depressed about my generation, my kids generations, and on.
I think people should show compassion for the Governer. I don’t believe he hates anyone.
It's all your personal belief and strictly conjecture. I don't know you well enough to be able to identify for sure. But I am about as centrist as they come, and you appear a decent amount more to the right than I am. You also seem to attack everyone as leftist or liberal that disagrees or strays from your beliefs. I have yet to witness you attack anyone as a right winger or conservative. That is not a quality I am familiar to with any centrist I know.Don’t see on conspiracy or right wing comment. If a far right person said it, they got one right I guess.
You're either very selective on what you read on the subject, or you are ignoring a lot to blame white kids. So why in an interview with the Detroit Free Press did Nathan Phillips describe how he had put himself between the beasts (Cov Cath kids) and their prey (Black Hebrews)? That description doesn't sound like what you describe.Again, that it not accurate and not what I said. I said the natives were marching in the direction of the group of kids. A: there were lots of opening and gaps among them. B: that was that direct route away from the situation.
Yes, and there is a reason he doesn't want it to escalate like he did. He got caught being very disrespectful to an elder. Not to mention veteran.
Of course, if I actually walked through you. But when I am walking and you see me, and you purposefully step in my way and don't move, then it's not my fault if I walk into you. Also, if you see someone moving to an area that you are blocking, or don't need to be, don't you feel it's polite and respectful to move? Is a light bulb going on yet?
No he wasn't he moved into his path as he approached. He was in the vicinity, but not the exact spot.
Again, your fable of what actually transpired is just simply inaccurate and poorly constructed sequence of events.
Not at all. Jumping up and down mocking a veteran and native is not respectful or right. Your poor child. I hope I never encounter them. Seems like the type I would have to bend over my knee and teach the manners your parents evidently failed to provide you.
You 2nd paragraph makes no sense. What guy with a drum was asking another guy with a drum for his drum? Why would he need another drum if he already had one? Did you see or hear the kids jumping up and down, making mocking Indian noises and tomahawk chops? And you still don't believe they weren't saying or doing offensive things? I guess you really can't make a horse drink.
Some of them are known for this, not all. Anyone can have a reasonable or thought provoking message and a horrible delivery method. Again, the obscenities and harassment did not allegedly start until the kids showed up. That doesn't indicate what they were saying before was offensive or crude. They could have been promoting the Hebrew religion and ideologies That doesn't at all indicate it was rude or offensive You are simply pushing that it was to fit you narrative. Can you provide evidence of this?
And who are you to say what should offend the native american? Wouldn't him indicating he felt it changed and became offensive and dangerous when the kids arrived insinuate there was a difference in verbiage at some point? How does that indicate him as racist or make him a bad person?
You can defend the kids all you want, fact are there is a tape that shows them being very offensive and derogatory to an Native American military veteran. Not really a good look regardless of the spin you put on it.
I'm not saying there wouldn't be a few nut jobs that would be calling for your head, but most would live and let live after time and demonstrated change. Again, I would have a very hard time ever voting you into an important public office, but I wouldn't mind you using your experiences and growth to teach others and improve society.

Yea, as I said, I don't delve into the whole conspiracy world bs.This is the scary part to me and we won’t agree. You will form a society of timid people who won’t reach their true growth and you will find the gutter rise to the top.
In the real world, people hate each other. You will not stop that. People change, for good and bad, you won’t stop that.
This falls directly in line with the assimilation issues I keep discussing.
The only way for America to actually make it (America not just one group or the other) is for mass assimilation so the melting pot can come to fruition. That’s not going to happen if we hate each other. Interracial marriages are essential for this to work.
I think you’re caught up in ideology because even when you should clearly see your position doesn’t really make sense you are full steam ahead. Will not bend.
I used to be that way too and that’s why I can always spot it.
I’m not thinking about today. I’m thinking about the future. Your kids, my kids, our grandkids, their kids. America is on course for really bad things to come. It will create wars both domestically and abroad. And this entire time, it will be white elites at the top controlling every situation because everyone has totally been blindsided by the revolving historical door of continuation.
Group A was bad to group B, group B got revenge, group A’s grandkids suffer the consequences and become bitter, seeks revenge against group B.
This is about to happen with the newest crop of plantation dwellers, the Hispanics. “Who’s gonna pick your strawberries”. Who’s going to clean your toilets”.
This language is used by the left btw.
And their kids won’t see America as great as their parents did. They will see them as victims, preyed upon by elites, and become bitter. They will seek retribution, they won’t assimilate, and we will have the newest grienvece lobby.
And 500 years from now it could be white problem that are fighting through injustice.
Or we can forgive each other, come together, and form a new republic of Americans that want prosperity for everyone.
I’m on beer 5 so......
To me it's only started to shift really left in the last couple of years with this whole democratic-socialist garbage. And I honestly think it's a delayed response to the Tea Party and Alt-right. It will be short lived.Oh I am more to the right. I just said in 1995 it would be hard to make the case that I’m even conservative. The democrats left me, I didn’t leave them. Much like the poor union workers up north.
