| Rank | Team | Record | Win Percentage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nebraska | 18-0 | 1.000 |
| 2 | Texas | 16-0 | 1.000 |
| 3 | UTEP | 18-2 | .900 |
| 4 | Xavier | 18-2 | .900 |
| 5 | North Carolina | 15-2 | .882 |
| 6 | Kentucky | 14-2 | .875 |
Unfortunately the RPI Futures has been ahead of the game here.Man, we are still really lagging in RPI. Currently #34
We have the 5th best record in Women's Volleyball at 15-2 according to AI:
Rank Team Record Win Percentage 1 Nebraska 18-0 1.000 2 Texas 16-0 1.000 3 UTEP 18-2 .900 4 Xavier 18-2 .900 5 North Carolina 15-2 .882 6 Kentucky 14-2 .875
I get why we are behind many of those 3 loss and 4 loss teams, but how are we lagging UTEP, Xavier, S Dakota St (13-3), Washington (9-9), and Florida (10-7 and a team we swept them.)
I realize our SOS will improve drastically when we play 4 top 8 teams in a row starting Sunday, but how many sets do we need to win in those 4 games to move up from #34? Do we have to win a game?
Barring some major upset win there, #16 Miami appears to be the only game left on our schedule that could help us.

Having 2 reverse 2 calls in the first 10UNC started really flat against ND but is now working on a reverse sweep.
2-2 headed into set 5.
Glad i watched that instead a fake basketball game
Bridget left her blood and sweat on the new court! The last 6 or so points of set 5 to come from behind were pretty epic.
there was a challenge won on a pony tail swish causing a touch, two monster kills by Safi, a failed challenge on a tool attempt by Malone that somehow went right between the defenders elbows, and an epic ace by Sienna to create match point and then the final point above.
UNC was losing all the rallies early in this match and then was winning most all of them by sets 4 and 5,
ugly, ugly win but a critical one as a loss to 7-9 ND would have been devastating leading into the next 4 straight top 10 opponents and for NCAA hopes/seeding
pearce seemEd to struggle a bit early when the ND block was clicking but Malone came in tonight for much of the last few sets and was really swinging it well. I think she upped her most kills in a match.
ND just took Pitt to 5 as well, so ultimately not a bad result. I think they’re kind of young so they may be rounding into form. I also thought there size was good prep for Louisville. The last 6 or so points of set 5 to come from behind were pretty epic.

Men’s exhibitiongame was on ESPN+. I watched the whole thing after the VB game. It is still there if you have a subscriptionWhat fake basketball game are your referring too. You could not get the men's game. The only college game that was on was Kansas and Louisville. You had college football games on and the NBA games. I hope you was not referring to the UNC men's game. If so, you could not watch that anyway. I am starting to feel some bias on this board towards men basketball. You could have posted that on the men's board and not here.
Not sure setting is the biggest issue thus far, serve receive has been a glaring category for me. Heels just can’t get the ball down. UL is digging everything or getting a block touch. Will be a great game to learn from, as this is by far the best opponent the Heels have faced.Pretty awful setting performance so far
Pearce has been struggling that last few matches and Malone has come in and been really good. So I get why he did it, but I don’t think her first start should have been against a top 10 team.Dang. I think if Schall had made the substitution earlier in the 1st set, they would have found their groove sooner. Tremendous fight from this team today.
