Rodney Hood. This freshman played 38 minutes, didn't score a lot, but had zero turnovers. He is pure silk and will only get better.

And yes he will get better we hope. I think he has already matured since Meridian. I think it will continue and we will enjy watching this guy play ball for four years.

His first step is fast for a guy as tall as he is. And those long arms of his are going to give other 3 guards he'sdefending some trouble.He's logging some good minutes that are only going to help him be more comfortable come SEC play. He's probably got about as much upside as anyfreshman I've seenat MSU since I became a fan. The ceiling is high for Hood. </p>
