Amazing what happens when you cherrypick all the best analysts from the other networks - and they all actually go to games and watch footage. For instance, Chris Jones had at least 4 different 24/7 guys(3 from other states) trek to watch him play ball in the regular season. While recruiting is an inexact science, the more thorough you are, the more correct the numbers will be.
Rivals and ESPN aren't even worth looking at for MSU most of the time. Chris Jones still a rivals 3*? That's ridiculous.
Agreed Engie. 24/7 at least appears more objective than the others because of the level of diligence they perform of the players. The network makes every effort to have multiple actually go watch these kids play in person, kind of a novel idea.
with Jones? Clearly he is very good, but it is quite rare that a 4/5-Star type talent visits only MSU (or Ole Miss) and doesn't have the usual suspects come calling.
they'd have to bat 100% on RK, Kamara, Daniel, Connor, Treadwell, and Shumpert, and perhaps swing Kailo Moore. I just don't think I can see them swinging all of those guys. Perhaps a couple, but not all.
