DJ, Lowry, Piercy, Garcia, Day == beards
Spieth, Mickelson, McIlroy == clean shaven

I didn't shave today.

It looked like Westwood's caddy was telling DJ that he saw it and didn't ground his club.

That's what I read into that pat on the shoulder. (Wishful thinking)

I'm not sure it matters if someone else vouches for him or not, though.

It's crap. He needs to know where he stands for strategery purposes. (Obvious)

I think they have already made their decision that it will be a penalty. I think it's just a procedural thing where they give the player a chance to look at the film and explain themselves.

So, if DJ disagrees with them and says eff it and signs the scorecard as it is, they could DQ him?

Did you see the tweets of Spieth, McIlroy and Fowler. They are right. They just mind effed him out of a championship. Complete and utter ******** move by the USGA.

I've got the Sky sports feed and the color guy(not sure who it is) is upset.

Not only because he disagrees with the possible ruling but because the officials are not sharing their info with the announcers so they can pontificate. "We need to know!"

Golf is a game of honor and the rule was changed to defer to the player to be honorable. Not only are they hanging this over his head but they're calling him a liar... and there's nothing worse to be called in golf.

He wouldn't do that, but they modified the rule slightly this year so that I don't think it would be a DQ situation.

Anybody notice the guy in the stands at the 18th wearing the UK shirt? There was a group of guys chanting "USA, USA" as DJ approached the 18th tee and one of them was wearing a white "always reppin" UK shirt.

Congrats to DJ. I'm glad the BS didn't get to him. A very well deserved victory. The USGA should give him a huge thank you for avoiding a complete ****storm which would have happened,
