Malcom R. and J. Benner wrestling well. Not giving up after 1st round loss. This is what we need from our guys. Hopefully Janzer comes back as well.
Lightner hasnt even wrestled yet.

My next door neighbors Mom, we are close with them and knew the mom. They are younger than us, but we became close friends, the wife's Mom passed away at only 59. Cancer sucks.

I am not sure why I like PDIII, maybe because he trains with our guys occasionally,
He seems disinterested and tired when he wrestles, but beating Myles is no easy task.

That was fast ! LOL, his opponent was from a unknown little school, so figured that could happen.

NJ 285 champ Fernandes on mat 1. Wrestling under the Buxton school name. on mat 2, opponent from Edinboro

And Fernandes loses by Tech 14-4

Not basing anything off an off season tourney. He was never challenged in High School.
He beat K. Lightner at Mat Town.

Freestyle is a lot different then folk style.

In Nov Fernandes got beat in some Open Touneys, once by the back up Cornell wrestler , only a freshman, another time by the Stanford back up.
He needs to get a little bigger and stronger. NJ HS 285 hasn't been deep the last few seaons.

Downside to Downey having success at anything is that one has to read his and his dad's horn tooting for days on end. :flush:

He gets lost in the shuffle because he is stuck behind Suriano at 133 next year unless he is going up or down.
