As far as bowl games go, they are mealiness now. It's either make the play off or stay home. No one cares about bowls. It' all about making the playoffs. Baseball is important at State and to State fans. Why not spend money on something we tend to be good at and has high attendance.

Not only that, we have some deep pockets that specifically want to give to baseball. If they couldn't designate it for baseball I doubt they would give it at all. So very little of what we are doing in baseball impact resources in football.
