I just watched that. I feel bad for Neal. You can tell he's a quality person and it's gotta be tough on him not getting it done. And you can tell he's frustrated about Woods leaving and apparently in a way where he just did it without even telling Neal. Too bad but the people at the top get the glory when things go well and the grief when they don't.

Woods must first get a waiver to play. He's out of eligibility. Second you can't hit the portal yet. They have certain dates you're allowed to do this. Third if he signed with someone then you got a strong case for tampering.

"Competed hard (enough to lose again) and proud (of the consistency in effort to do so). Credit Kansas State (with being one 7 teams to beat us this year, not much of an accomplishment but credit them anyway)."

It would be good for the world to let him off the hook now. My nephew had upper level seats today but ended up setting in the 3rd row at the 50 yard line, because there were so many empty seats. Home game, senior day, top 15 team, and half the stadium was empty. That is not WVU football. Its hard to watch Brown week after week saying the same crap, making the same excuses, and slumping. Its ugly and really should stop today.

He will get the waiver and tampering doesn’t matter. I don’t like it, but the NCAA can’t and won’t do anything about it. Figure we will see him in Miami next year.

And 16M. Well paid for whatever they get.

Riding the pine and counting his money. This was his 5th year here and nobody expected him back anyway. If all the other starters on defense leave then that would be a huge plus.
