There were racists and non-racists at both schools, though, but a simple look at how Ole Miss reacted to James Meredith vs. how Mississippi State reacted to the basketball team (same school year 62-63) shows which school was more racist overall.

It proves nothing. Countless MSU students have been arrested or escorted from Mississippi's campus for a variety of reasons over the years.

This is a still shot from the 30 for 30. That is an MSU student arrested along with OM students in 1962. RocketCityDog is the only honest person I have seen among you, maybe because he was actually alive at the time. A mississippian back then was a mississippian, same as now. No better, no worse. If you listen to Coach34, MSU was tolerant of all people, regardless of race, color, or creed. This is an absurd delusion and a rewriting of history. You can't absolve yourself of all of the sins of the past simply because this took place in Oxford and not Starkville. We are all Mississippians and we all have this cross to bear. No pun intended.
