Best directing of the season.

Really made you invest in those two, and then a very jarring reveal. Even good acting ouside of Tyreese.

"Carol" said on Talking Dead afterwards that the director didn't tell her what was going to happen. Simply gave her the script and said that her character had to do something hard and wanted her to do it with grace. Very good directing job.

Also said that the puzzle they were putting together was actually a picture of Sophia.

That was absolute horsepuckie.

I was waiting with baited breath for someone to blow those kids brains out. This was like watching "because of Winn Dixie" and I hated it. Totally got away from what made this show great. Get some serious action going.

Man, y'all are crazy. This show isn't just about killing zombies 24/7. This episode was intense as the OP stated. The level of action in every episode this second half has been dialed down preparing us for a season finale that will blow your socks off. Just wait. If you don't like it, go watch something else. Vikings has plenty of killing.

While I do yearn for more action, that has to have been some of the best acting I've ever seen on TV across one episode. From crazy girl to Tyrese staring down Carol, I was totally immersed.

Jesus. A young girl murders her even younger and innocent sister in cold blood in order to try to prove a point, and then a woman who had already lost her daughter has to put a bullet in the back of the head of one of the last children on the show because she's unstable, and this was all boring??? Damn, some of y'all are some soulless bastards. Go rent Machete I guess

Brave, brave writers for that show. To me, that was their way of saying they really aren't afraid of changing the storyline. They also reminded us that in that world, there's just no telling what may happen to a person mentally, which can make them scarier than walkers.

My entire family is hooked and were speechless last night.

Those girls should have been eating or killed several episodes ago. Glad they are gone! Let's move on.

I can't lie.. even before she did what she did, I was thinking to myself earlier in the episode "they just need to treat her like a horse with a broken leg.. take her out back and shoot her".. and AFTER she did what she did, there was no question what had to be done.

Gotta say. Never saw that one coming! I just sat there in stunned silence for a few minutes. Dang!! Don't know where they are going with this, but the season finale should be a doozy.
