There are actually quite a few posters up here on this thread who are saying we’re going to get embarrassed. Just go back and read the previous posts up here. You haven’t seen our Eagles this year other than what’s on the net. I know what I see each week and I’ve been to a few Wrh games as well this season. I also speak with our coaches and some of our players daily. They know how big this game is and many of our coaches were here in 17. That loss still hasn’t gone away. Friday night is going to be fireworks. I see a high scoring game from both teams. We can’t shut your running game completely down and your dogs won’t shut our offense down. The game is a toss up, it’s not going to be a Wrh blowout. That’s not happening. There are a couple of posters up here who have said we are going to get blown out

I doubt it. I think coach will probably have a sit down with Fletch and the boys on defense. I’m sure he will have a nice long talk with them about what a win against Wrh would mean for our program. This game is almost as big as Reid’sville/Shelby. All the 757 (Va) news channels will be covering it for Friday night lights. You’ll see Chopper 10 flying above the field for certain. This game is bigger for our program than yours. We have so much to gain by winning it. The game is going to be off the charts good. I have it a two point swing.
I highly doubt it, most people are all talk. I also understand that some just don’t believe in gambling and I can respect that. What I would put out there is this. If any poster up here knows someone who might like some action on the game then contact them and let them know that there are some takers here in EC. We can sort things out before kick off on Friday. Nothing, I just posted because I figured some posters out of our area following this game might like to see it.
Should be a great game, to close to call, NE is a very very good team who is becoming a dynasty in the east. Two great programs going head to head for a chance to play for the eastern crown. Last time WRH-NE played it was one of the best HS games I ever attended. This is exactly what a 4th round game should look like. Can WRH defense continue to improve? If so I thing the dogs pull out a nail biter, If not NE survives and advances.

This is the cream of the eastern crop right here...I think the winner of this game represents the east at State, we shall see.

If Maiden wasn't playing I'd make this trip!!
Both teams have been playing good playoff ball. WRH is averaging 49-25 ; NE is averaging 53-18. WRH is going to have to control the clock and keep the ball out of NE's hands and they'll have to be able to pass the ball some to catch them off guard. NE needs to be themselves on offense and load the box and make WRH throw. You get ahead and take WRH off their game.
This game comes down to the 4th quarter...then I believe NE speed takes over. I hate to see it end! I'm thinking a Reidsville vs Hendo type of game...
Prediction: NE by 14 ; Northeastern 48 - WRH 34

I hate to use the word deserve so I will change it to needs. Northeastern needs a state championship and if they were playing anyone other than a SE NC team I would be pulling for them.
NE ability to throw concerns me unless WRH can get pressure. I think the dogs will be able to run the ball.

Their defense the past 2 games has been as good as their offense. They are really well balanced and peaking at the right time. I expect this game to be a classic for the East.
When Mot came to New Hanover he asked for one concession, that be allowed to bring his offensive coordinator with him. Mot is a defensive guy and I was a bit surprised how they have performed the last 2 years - until lately. Hopefully they will continue the good play.

Unc , dogs 79 , Otis quick question I would live to know how many kids on NE On this current team played against a wing t team hum let me guess the all american freshman Beast of the east Freshwater or fletcher or Sutton or gatlin of anyone else on this team going to the games watching doesn’t mean anything all it means is u see the plays but they can be ran mutiple way mutiple formations with or without motion, they’ve only seen wrh with the Delaware look with the two backs but the Jim Brett style with the 3 backs t set is very tricky to defend!! So in 4 years a defense is gonna figure out how to stop us from scoring they will be ready for that wing t in a week ok maybe I’m wrong I give credit to wheee credit is due NE Defense is impressive and offense as well!! Should be a good game I say wrh by 3
