WRH will be looking for payback for what we did to them last year at their place. I'm not sure how good this WRH team is compared to last year beside there backs. I know they have at least 2 quality speed backs. There will be a lot of athletes on the field come Friday. This will be the best team Clinton has played so far, will the Oline be able to block the WRH defense, will Clinton be able to stop the good RB's from WRH, can WRH keep Raheem Skinner and company in check and force Clinton to pass. These are all good questions we will have to wait till Friday to get answered. I will go Clinton 28-WRH 21. Go horses!

Last year Clinton controlled the line of scrimmage aganist Wallace. Clinton o-line not as good as last years. I would still give Clinton a slight edge offensively and Wallace slight edge defensively. Two really good teams but it is at Clinton so I'm going 24-21 Clinton
This 1A team won the state 1A championship last year with only one loss, care to guess who that was to? WRH may be 1A in size but not for lack of talent. Play them.
Pender, Midway, West Bladen, Trask, and East Bladen. That is one tough 2A conference. 1A/2A amazing.

You wanna compare the performance of the four county to the SD7 over the last ten to fifteen years? There are five that have played in recent 2A title games out of eight in the SD7. Lets do it. Just four county and SD7. Go ahead and begin. Your post should be short.
Yeah the list is short... this Conference is like 3 years old. With a State Title and runner-up last year.

Yes you're right.. If we play the time machine game (which is how you got out of the original point) we have only one team (with numerous appearances) in 2A.... 3 others in 1A but that doesn't count since you made the rules
Apologies to Clinton and WRH... I won't entertain our western friend anymore. As for this game, I do know this is probably going to be one of the best shows on turf anywhere in the state Friday night. Both teams hit EB in the mouth. I do give Clinton the edge in it and I think they won't separate at all until late... Wallace may have one too many bodies going both ways to hold the Clinton running attack down for 4 quarters. I'll say Clinton by a score of 21-14
Clinton is a great program. Has been, will be, and is. Same for SWO. Good as west most years. Just don't see making a big deal out of playing these petty teams. Again if you think WRH is petty, play them. Otherwise them and EB, I agree the conference is what it is, but as far as the initial discussion, WRH is a great team and clinton will have a tough game

Never thought James Kenan would beat WRH (even though they are very good). With that being said I am taking Clinton by a TD.
Clinton wins by two TD's. I think they are a little deeper at running back than W-RH, and the very young O-Line is coming around at the right time.
That #22 RB for Clinton is a nasty kid. He can bob and weave...total ankle breaker. If I was wallace, he would be one of my main priorities.

Seeing is believing. Scheduling weak higher classifications schools from Wilmington and competing with elite programs are 2 different things. Can't include the west because they haven't scheduled them to play.
There is no way the East can even hold a candle to the West. I mean, they have the toughest schedules, NFL talent and quarterbacks that can sling the ball from North Carolina to Canada. Why would anyone from the East even THINK of playing a team from the West? Lets just skip the playoffs and give Shelby and E. Lincoln the titles already LOL!
No need for that, in off years when Clinton and/or SWO is not up to par, the west sends you a Reidsville or TW Andrews to make things interesting, who knows you might get lucky and land a powerhouse like Monroe as a bonus.
Perhaps Clinton will. And if they do, they will strap up and play just like they've played every other team.
