JK did come ready to play. They hit hard. No turnover a few penalties. They just didn’t make adjustments. They sure didn’t out athlete us like several said
The JK community, it was like we were sure of a win last night.
Wrh played their most complete game to dare. Little or no turnovers, limited penalties. I have been very critical of this team and the coaches. Last night, or really since the bye week, this looks like a different team entirely. Somebody has been putting in the time with this defense. I mean they are showing different, effective coverage schemes on pass coverage. I really feel the coaching staff has turned it up a notch, or somehow gotten through to these kids. I'm almost ashamed to say I had all but given up on this years team. On the contrary, we appear to be peaking at the right time. One more thing, kudos to our special teams. We actually attempted 2 fgs in one game, one being the difference! I'll eat this plate of fried crow proudly! Go dogs keep up the good work!

We play second fiddle to your teams more often than not but this year is our year. We’re gonna fly and fly high. I had an awesome time last night and met some incredible people. What an environment, we don’t have that up here and I’m jealous of that. What we do have this season is one extremely good football team that I don’t think any team in the east will even come within two tds of. That’s my very honest opinion and @dogs79 and @oldway55 know I really feel this way. I spoke with both of them en route to the game last night and said Wrh would win easily. They will back me up on this, it was never a second thought. Dogs are playing well and had been battle tested against some good teams. Love that #1 for the Dogs, kids gonna be special next year, don’t let Clinton poach him

Probably had a hard time getting them to focus after just beating SL 82-0. They are still very young kids.
It’s hard not to be excited if your a Northeastern fan. We have a special team and in two weeks others across the east will get to see why we’re so excited, and we don’t have illegal players.

And we avenged that last loss to y’all later in the season. If an undefeated JK team that had a chance to stomp a mud hole in this average WRH team, on our home field no less, and couldn’t get up for that then something is definitely wrong with JKs program. I agree, no way JK wasn’t prepared. Look what was at stake. A chance to beat Wrh for the first time in 10 years. An outright conference championship won on your hated rivals home field. Then last and most important securing the overall #1 seed in the east and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I doubt you could get any one else in that "JK community" to come on here and admit to thinking Wallace Rose Hill was gonna roll over over and play dead Friday night. When you go into the Pound for a slice of a Conference Championship you better be ready for war!! Everyone in the East knows that!
I see this now and I was basing my comment off the one post. Even after reading it again I just assumed you meant the players and coaches. Hopefully your Tigers will be better focused now entering the playoffs.

There was no doubt in their minds that thought they were going to win. One needs to look no further than everyone’s predictions on these threads before the game. This includes Brian Simmons and even some Dogs posters. I knew Wrh was the better team. I love Nchsfb and I sit in my shop and watch a lot of games. Many of those were involving the ECC teams. That game could’ve very easily ended in a shutout and probably should’ve had the Dogs not let off. I’m not sure why they relaxed on their play calling and stopped being aggressive. The Tigers defense couldn’t stop a nose bleed that night. I wish Kevin had just kept the throttle wide open and not of choked it down and the outcome would’ve been much worse. Just my thoughts as an outsider
Goob, you be talking foolishly at times, let's make this make sense, you think that Wallace wasn't trying to score anymore? Come on, JK defense gave up 3 points in the 2nd half, and Wallace got in fg position on a pf penalty. We waited too late to get into our power offense, and when we did, we scored twice within 5 or 6min. We had some uncharacteristic things happen on offense Friday, which hadn't happened all season. I'm very confident that won't happen again!
That’s exactly what we were thinking! We had people that had already planned after parties after the game. We were certain that we was gonna walk out of the Dog Pound with a victory. And the reason why we were so confident, is because the last time an undefeated JK team went into the Dog Pound with the conference championship on the line, we walked out victorious. So yes we were over confident!!!

have been focused all season, they didn't lose Friday because of lack of focus, I can’t pin point exactly why we lost, but i can definitely tell you it wasn't lack of focus.
You can say that cause you're on the outside looking in, we know what we had done before (2006 10-0 JK at 10-0 Wallace), and nobody in the JK community thought that we had a chance at losing Friday. JK doesn't lose the last game of the season when they're undefeated up to that point. See what you don't understand is nobody expected Wallace to roll over dead, we were going to be the one to kill them.
I'm not on the outside as much as you think. I've been to more games that mean anything in the dog pound in the last 10 years than JK has. First thing you need to learn is that talk is cheap. Maybe you will see them again in the playoffs. If so guess what?? It will be in that pound again!
Outside, meaning that you're not a dog, nor a Tiger! I was speaking from the point of what I know about undefeated JK teams playing at Wallace in the last game of the season. And I know that talk has always been cheap, but there wasn't any cheap talk it was confidence in an undefeated JK team. Now come on, do you really think that JK is worried about playing Wallace in the Dog
Pound, when we just played the worst game that we have played all season, and we only lost by 3. that's funny to me!!! But we're not looking ahead, one game at a time, win or go home. JK won't be overlooking anyone. So we'll cross that bridge when or if we get to it. LET'S GOOOO TIGERS
