Rutgers has been struggling with attendance for years and falsely reporting “sellouts.” Everyone knows that. But there is no excuse for not legitimately selling out a Big Ten home game against the national runner-up regardless of whether we beat Virginia Tech the week before. If Rutgers can’t sell this game out then it’s seriously time to start removing seats from the stadium.

I don’t want what we have now removed or reduced, numbers wise, but would like to see real seats at some point. Cupholders too.

Why would they remove seats from the stadium regardless if we sell out or not? What benefit does that provide?
