No way Clinton will be 4th in East barring major injuries. They are my #1 target to beat with a slight edge over JK #2 and WRH #3 with all three being just a sliver between each other in pure athletic talent. Whiteville and NE were both young teams and will probably round out the top 5. Clinton is loaded and should have beat ED this year had they used #10 (6'3, 245 decoy) and/or #2 on that 2 pt. conversion. (Thanks again for that half back pass!) James Kenan and WRH also are loaded returning a stable of great athletes. Only thing that has me putting WRH #3 is losing Pearsall, Love and Montgomery as that is a lot of leadership on the field especially from #1 (3 year starting QB) as I am glad that dude is gone. However, Motsinger will most likely overcome and have them Dogs barking deep into the playoffs with Kerr and Brown. ED who on talent/athletes should probably be in the top 8 or so with losing 8 starting spots on Offense and 9 on Defense; however, with our coaching staff and culture we will reload and most likely pickoff one or two of the top 3 throughout the season from just discipline and execution. Not to mention we have our QB Zack Brown back who will throw even more next year if we can find some boys to catch and of course Elam Moore and Chris Martin! Can't wait to see them come together and make another run. Some young names to start getting familiar with are Lanier, Boney, Hall (Imagine that another Hall!), Jones, Davis, Harper, Scarborough, Judge, and Lawson.
