the white ones made the grass stains down the back and cleat marks all over them from aTm more prominent. They were interesting until it was 21-zip which was about 3 minutes in.**

Both uni's were cool I thought but it really doesn't matter when you get your *** whooped in them. It's like cam newton dancing in the endzone when the panthers are down 35-10.

So you're going to answer dodge my question with another question... I'm not going to play that till you answer me first. You said you'd much rather take hire better coaches, recruit better players, and win more games as if it were mutually exclusive.

Have you forgotten that once upon a not too distant time, we were considered a coaching graveyard? The fact that we're drawing attention to ourselves and showing that we can win is proving that tagline false. We have better coaches, we have better talent and we are winning more games on top of bringing attention to us which is why I said a Saban-esque hire because we've already made minimal improvements, but a hire of that caliber is one of the only ways I can think of that just brings the type of resources that you speak of on it's own.

How the 17 do you think we're going to be able to recruit better players and get better coaches to help us win more games without drawing attention to ourselves? We don't have the money to make those types of hires right now and keep them. Our tradition is a losing tradition and that alone distances ourselves from recruits. So again, unless you see something that me and many others aren't seeing, answer my question. How are we supposed to run your model and just build our success that way when our program has to fight just to keep our head above water? Unless you have some revolutionary yet simple idea... like it or not, but we're going to have to go out of our way to do things to get noticed.

Do you usually miss 7 out of 10 on tests?

Here are some examples of teams that almost always wear their colors:...LSU, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State...Oklahoma...UCLA

Oh really?

We`re in the SEC and almost every game we play is televised....we have attention. If we can`t attract coaches and players with the exposure we already have do you really think dressing like snow flakes is gonna help.

I don't think, I know it's already helped. People have already posted a few recruits talking about how they liked the uniforms. But the uniforms is just a small part in the bigger picture and the entire marketing department has already done it's job to give us more exposure than we would have gotten before.

Most of the posts here in favor of the uniforms are minor variations on the following theme: “They draw attention to us.” I think a lot of people just find it embarrassing to try so hard to draw attention to ourselves, then once we have people's attention, we get our asses drilled on the football field.

For the record, I did like the Snow Bowl uniforms, especially the silver helmets, and am fine with us wearing them again.

You certainly extended that comment a long way. I have no trouble with marketing expenditures, but I do have trouble with the crazy "special" uniforms. Not only are they a huge waste of money, most of them just don't look like MSU. Admittedly the Snow Bowl ones look pretty good, except that I've never seen us wear white at home before. And yes, I know we wore white in Shreveport ... I was there. I hate the black ones ... that was pretty much follow the leader after several other teams.
