We’re not a coaching graveyard anymore, and Starkville doesn’t suck anymore. I really wish our own fanbase would let those two false talking points die.

I agree; however, even that is just a subset of a larger group. Mississippi's universitites, as a whole, are a stepping stone to professional success at other destinations.
This is also the challenge for Mississippi as a state -- it is a layover stop to more desirable destinations and the opportunities that emerge from them.
Let me also add that my comments taste butter coming from my mouth, as I love Mississippi. But I won't run from or deny the reality that has been an ongoing problem for decades.

We are not a coaching graveyard! Coaches come here to coach in the SEC which is the premier conference in the land. If we were a coaching graveyard Leach would have never come here.
