Week 1 Simmons Ratings. Thoughts?

Very surprised Bunker Hill is as high as they are and Maiden is as low as they are.
Simmons rankings are respected by many of the posters on NC Preps.
He may know something we don’t.
Cumming at 40? Then other poll from twitter had them top 10? Lol am I missing something
I'd be curious to know what he uses as a starting point this time of year.

So, a Reidsville team that returns only 5 starters from last years best team ever is only 3 points less in the power ratings?
Not even close.
Deduct about 15 points from that 145.9 rating and it will be more realistic.

Max Preps moved Reidsville to #1…..Monroe drops to #2.
Shelby moved up a couple as well.

think Mule is saying that last years Reidsville team had the highest power rating that a Reidsville team has ever had (at least the Simmons ratings)...make of that what you will..................
Maiden, Chase, and Polk passed BH for week 2. I bet Maiden moves up at least 5 more spots this week.
Maiden came out of the gate…riding and whipping!
….there’s a mountain ahead of all the teams….who knows?…how this season will go….if it goes at all. Ugh!Maiden is whipping tails and taking names....two big shutout wins...could Reidsville and Maiden meet later in the year??....too early to tell for both teams.................Covid may upset one or both............
If we ever make it out of the first round I'll start being happy again. Conference dominance alone is not enough at this point. Undefeated regular seasons mean nothing when you bow out first round

Hopefully we meet up this season. I’m all about playing different teams
Beating down a generally good 4A school like they did, I'd say they should!
Maiden and Chase will have alot to say if everyone can complete the season
Gonna be a fun season. Seems like every team is breaking in a bunch of new young talent. There are many really, really darn good teams, but not many you could say are super duper great right now.
And the combined playoff will just make things even better.

I said before, whoever comes out of the west will be really beat up. I'll give you bug league teams some credit, youre playing with alot of dragon flies and horse flies this season, not alot of fruit flies like the past.
