Pretty much. Running clock's as I have learned from the mill used to be a gentleman's agreement between HC's back in the day before the state started it. For instance we played HP Andrews 4 years ago at Simeon for endowment the year they won the 2AA title and they had it won after a quarter; we were that banged up. Their HC and ours agreed to run the clock and the 2nd half finished in 20/30 minutes. In 2015 when we played Atkins for homecoming it started running in the 2nd quarter when we were up 35-0. If a coach broke the agreement and kept scoring it'd make the HC look bad. Used to be agreed on a handshake.

2014 the state brought it in; I'm glad because there used to be some awful 1A games like when Alby was stout where it'd be 75-0.

I say it's a variety of things tonight. But I think they probably agreed ahead of time. Ashe planned it well to slow Hibriten down but Hibriten's that stout weather doesn't matter.

I say it's more the first part. Hibriten went deep in the 3A playoffs last year and are expected to contend for the 2AA west every year pretty much. Well coached program.

Ashe has a murder's row non conference on purpose to prep them for conference. It's both risky and smart it just depends on how it's done. As I say in my rankings we will see how good they will be in conference in a couple of weeks vs. you guys. I expect it to be a good game.

Hate Alleghany game got moved to monday our players some who go both ways will be wore out come 2nd half of fridays game vs south stokes, while south stokes played yesterday and will have 3 extra days of rest between games. Lookin forward to hopefully whippin bishop monday. Go Trojans!
