Starting pg Trevor Releford injured his ankle in practice Monday and is doubtful for our game now. Hey I will take whatever help we can get.

Florida lost one of their key players for 2 weeks as well -- which puts him very questionable in being back for our game.

I hope Pollard gets a nice, warm "welcome" to the Hump even if I don't honestly fault his decision...

Fla losing a single player and Bama losing a player = big difference. I know you know that, Engie. Heck, Fla would beat us missing at least 3 or 4 of their starters.

Oooo! Hadn't really thought about that. I hope the students show up big for this one. We need to boo his *** and chant something Every time he touches the ball. Who does Bama have back from last season besides Releford?

I'm aware -- I was just speaking to the "stars may be aligning" angle...

That said, this team is going to sneak up and beat a really good team that we shouldn't at some point this season. We haven't played even close to our best game yet. We played tremendous D and transition ball/rebounding against South Carolina -- but were ice cold shooting. We won that game without hitting A SINGLE 3. We shot much better against UGA, but weren't as good in the other facets. That is a characteristic of a young and inexperienced, but talented team. If we manage to start putting it all together, we're going to be a fairly dangerous team. Not to win the conference or make the NCAAs -- but there won't be anyone overlooking us -- and on any given day, we could steal one...

Wow, that was cool. Kinda cruel and smartassy but cool. So they have Lacey and Steele to contend with
Lacey is either hot or ICE cold. Steele plays really well against us too
