Wow , i have to agree 84, i dont even know what to say as i watched it unfold, it is beyond belief and just boggles my mind,, the entire 2nd half really, that was west cabarrus 3rd game in 7 days i believe, i guess i'll say it as a spiders and kannapoils fan, those kids deserved better than those last 2 calls of the game. Win or lose let it be on there terms, i can see that surprise pass call on 3rd down to a extent, maybe float the TE into the back of the endzone(concord and Kann have both done that many a time before) but no reason with Johnson i believe at rb you dont hand him the ball right off either side of the center on 4th down.Coaching
You have it at the half yard line with a minute to go and you run those two play. A Wide Receiver pass That goes in complete and I have no clue what they were trying to do on the last play it looked like a Half back option that the running could have walk in but tried to throw it. And why in the world do you start the drive with your backup QB and then after 3 plays put your starter in.
For the last couple of years I’ve tried to bite my tongue but tonight did it, there needs to be a coaching change. Their play calling is horrendous
Did they call it “Seattle” “Seattle”3rd and 1 ball on one you throw the ball 2 damn times
I was looking at the Friday Nights in K-Town Facebook page, looks like the fans are getting frustrated with what is going on!Coaching

I have heard that Kann has had some things happen which has really hurt their offense. Their defense is good but on the field way too much. I have seen this situation many times with teams and the frustration flows to the players and even the coaches and surely with the fans. The defensive players start barking at the offensive players and then it snowballs. That kind of pressure can effect the confidence the coaches have in the players as well. It’s a very difficult situation for everyone. I’m not defending the play calling but I’m a Kann fan from a far and looking in from different lenses I can add that this is just a crappy year for the Wonders. Players probably are doing a great job and maybe the coaches aren’t either.
Hopefully the administration there doesn't get to where they don't mind losing! That has happened at South and it is very hard to change that culture once it settles in, I remember the time South could compete with anyone back in the 80s, then somewhere along the way people decided that losing didn't matter look at where that got us!Your last point is 100% correct. I can’t blame the players they are trying it’s just crappy play calling by the coaches.
I hope so too but it’s no where close to where it used to be and it will never go back to the good OL days. Too many changes in the administration over the years and many that don’t care about the culture that used to exist there. It was special but now we have to treat the swim team the same way we treat the FB team. I hope the Kann fans enjoyed it while it lasted. I’m not say Kann can never be good again but it will never be like it was.Hopefully the administration there doesn't get to where they don't mind losing!
