So Pitt could be with out 4 players.
They beat Tennessee Martin.
Panthers would have mental errors on defense that would allow non-power five conference programs like The Citadel, UMBC and Monmouth, all who beat Pitt last year.
So if you want to call UTM an upswing I guess you can look at that.
West Virginia has a current five-game winning streak against the Panthers.

I understand Pitt has a short bench as well. Looking forward to seeing our rotations and more patterns of the team. Will be a good test to see how players 8-13 fair as fresh bodies against their lack of depth.
Pitt is very vulnerable to the dribble drive and I am happy as hell to see us finishing at the rim tonight.
Perhaps you should rewatch the first game and you will see why Pitt got their *** kicked.
Let’s Go Mountaineers! Great team effort. This team, I think, will be fun to watch this year. Everyone brings something out there.
