Interesting post on the blue lot showing the freshman stats on every guard at WVU since 1991. Illustrates just how good of a season McBride has had this year. We will really need him to win tonight.

Despite everything WVU is doing wrong, it is down only by 4 at the half with a C+ performance.
Listen to Huggins' halftime adjustments, improve the ball-handling, tighten up the game to Huggins Heroes Pitbull Defense standards this season and my alma mater wins going away by 20 or more.
But, again, being better isn't good enough. You have to play better.
Tech's Moretti is the smartest, and most devious player in the game, and probably the best shooter.
WVU IS doing much better with its free throw shooting.
In the 2nd half if WVU, as usual, has worn down the other team, we WILL win going away. But only if WVU keeps the pressure on, keeps its cool on offense.
This game will be a good test for March Madness. When you're not playing your A-game, shake it off and get back to your A-game.
Again, down only by 4 with all the below-par performances in so many categories. Cut out that sub-par (for WVU) crap and the Red Raiders are toast!
Here's hoping for the "real" WVU Pitbull Defense and rebounding at its normal level this season!

It would be nice to get a true road win against a tournament level team, but it seems that is too much to ask from this team.
When Oscar and Culver take only 5 shots, it's going to be hard to win against anybody in this conference. heck, Gabe took 3 more shots than Culver and Oscar combined.
Played a good game but we are going to have to pull out some quality road wins to be considered serious contenders.

When you allow 64.7% from 3 and 54% FG for the game. It's going to be hard to win.
Even if we beat K State this Saturday like we did Missouri or Texas, I still don't like how this team can't put together anything on the road. Oklahoma State is our only true road win and we looked like utter crap in that game too. Not going to win in the dance or even the Big XII tournament unless you can play outside your own sandbox.
