Actually my full nickname is Slim L (Mule) Pigskin, IV.
It was a name I used when I wrote a sports column decades ago for the Reidsville Review predicting the outcome of high school football games. I worked with dhag and TGT just for fun in those days. Very few people in Reidsville know my real identity.
I first used that nickname in 1965.

Yeah, that's what I'd say. Nycer kelly is the only one with weight, they may bring in Nashaun Price who has some weight. Kendre would do well with a college weight program if he decides to stay with football.
Hey I used to work with a guy from Maiden that once upon a time had a nickname of "Thisman". If you know the story, you know the story..... but anyway, do you know of who I speak and if so, is he still around town? Hadn't talked to him in a looooong time.
From the videos I've seen, I wouldn't either. Salisbury and KM were big.
Two teams with tons of skill. The difference may come down to home field advantage and kicking games. as usual in most tight ball games, whoever gets a crucial turnover.
I think Burns is the overall better team but being on the road against a solid team can be tough. Got to weather an early storm and settle in.

Its a bigger ol for Reidsville standards is my point. We've had 165 pound guys on the offensive line at times in previous years. For everyone to be over 220 is big for a Reidsville team.
Last season we had widerman who isn't a natural ol and Lee (I think)who looked like a db.
I went to a Maiden/Newton Conover game with him prolly around 96 or 97.... had my first HB Steak at Scotties that night.... I hate they closed.
It’s hard to believe! I remember Scotties location on Main Street before they moved which was waaaay back. They had been in Maiden as long as I can remember.
There is a new Italian place in there now. I haven’t tried it yet; but, I hear it’s pretty good.
Really? We won 8 or 9 while you couldn't even make a championship game. Best not allow another absence....
They might have half as many classifications as high school wrestling has weight classes.
Oh I bet you Reidsville guys are praying this happens and you don't end up in some of these teams classification.

Don’t know who wins, but I got a feeling Reidsville hasn’t seen a team like Burns. Burns has played some really good teams over this way, but this Reidsville team is quite impressive.
I’m sure coach Teague and the players have plenty of respect for Burns, but it doesn’t appear a lot of the Reidsville fans show that same respect. I’m sure Burns will earn that respect tonight and vice versa.
This is arguable the best Burns team ever and without a doubt their best chance to win a ring anytime in the near future even with a few studs coming back next year. Get it while you can Dogs, don’t puke all over your shoes like our KM brothers do every year.
We all know Reidsville is a daddy rabbit year in and year out. You’ll need to be way better than last year to win this game.

We've been subdivided for 20 years. I wasn't in Reidsville in the 90's, but I don't think the talent in Reidsville in the 80's and 90's is as good as now. I know Rams were always solid though

Reidsville of course !!! It's obvious ! Cleveland County has nothing but bulldogs running rampant and terrorizing all the goats !! Them folks hate some Rams no doubt. Most posters on this thread aren't even Lawndalers.... They want them bulldogs to win some kinda bad !
Actually, in 2002 Reidsville won 2AA championship. Burlington Cummings won 2A championship. Both teams were in the North State Conference. Reidsville beat them to win the conference championship that year. That's the only answer I have.

How many NCHSAA Championships did Shelby win during the split classification, and how many STATE championships does Shelby claim from the WNCHSAA ?
Got a WR/DB that’s got several offers from Colorado, APP, Catawba, GWU, been to visits at auburn, charlotte, Troy, Carolina, Nc state, and Mizzou.
Yeah, I actually would count 2002 as a unified championship now that you said that.
Looking at the old conference, it was tough back then I assume. Reidsville, Cummings, Williams, High Point Andrews, Morehead, etc. Not an easy schedule to get through for anybody. All Star conference, I probably misplaced some teams but still an all star conference.
I remember 2002-2004. Mid state was probably one of the toughest conferences in the state. Cummings, Western Alamance, Reidsville and you could throw in Western Guilford ( They had Darryl Jahlo who went to West Virginia and were a really explosive team during this time period).
