I have a relative high up in the UL administration. Ramsey's compensation, theft of funds by university officials, Pitino and Petrino.....the list of embarrassments have made him very unhappy.
If it happened then Pitino should be fired. If he isn't I will no longer support the program. That being said I am letting it play out. UK fans are always going to assume the worst because truthfully...a lot of you want this to be true. It would be awesome to see some of you actually admit this because that would take sheer honesty, but I doubt many (if anyone) will. On Ramsey and Rutherford the author admitted that some of the texts were made up. That alone, without several other inconsistencies, lends me to take a wait and see approach. The Chris Jones situation was the same thing...guilty until proven innocent.
Ok . . . maybe we were saying the same thing but we do not share the same "views." Stepping personally aside for just a moment, I think would could both agree than any number of notable 19th century social indictments would illustrate that it is man's morals that shaped society and not the other way 'round. Man did not rely on society's instructions that murder and theft were wrong in order for him to have it in his heart of hearts (moral code) that those things are, in fact, immoral. The latter preceded the former. I think you need to rethink what you're wanting to say.
It was never said they were made up. You tard fans are so desperate to hear what you want to hear that reality is twisted. If it happened then Pitino should be fired. There's history to go on in the moral department ul seems to avoid like the plague. And he didn't say they were made up genius, he said recreated. You know like they existed before and they remade them. Big difference. I'm not up on the jones case but just because something is dropped doesn't mean innocence.

Mt HushwhoreMt. Rushwhore
What you fail to see is it doesn't mean one didn't cheat on one's spouse. It also doesn't mean the texts weren't originally sent. You completely ignore the texts and calls that have been forensically proven. You choose to hang your hat on a red herring while the mountain of evidence against you is overwhelming. It is telling Pitino, Jurich etc are not denying any of this happened. What UL fans fail to understand is it doesn't take video evidence of sex to find violations here. Once again, saying "this isn't true" means nothing. For demonstration purposes, let's say you cheated on your wife according to me. I say my evidence is texts messages some woman claims to have between you and her. All of a sudden she says her phone was wiped clean due to a phone virus (never heard of such) so I had her recreate the texts. Does that mean you cheated on your wife? Would anyone believe that from such a story now that biased fandom is taken out of it?
Also recreate = create = make up.
I wonder what Lyle told them because the Ohio State guy said they were told and are pretty confident that Lyle has nothing to worry about. which makes me feel a deal was struck

Can't they both lie about the situation, play 1 year of college, and then off to the Pros with no ramifications if it comes out later they were lying?Very possible. But my money is still on Blakeny being the one who gives the info. Maybe they both will. Those are the two players with the most to lose, since they have remaining eligibility.
OK what about your take on the others Scandals? If the team I would've been fired in 09 do you think this would've happened

So Blakeney decided to lie to the NCAA, he just put his eligibility in jeapordy.I don't see blakeney coming forward now after he already told the NCAA over a week ago that he denied it.
This was Powell’s journal entry relating to a show allegedly done for Lyle:
“Been a long time since we’ve been up to U of L to do a show. McGee texted me like, what’s up? He wanted me to bring three girls up there for a new recruit named JaQuan Lyle, he and his friend. I took (escorts) Rod-Ni, TooTall, Jazmine and Shay, who calls herself Sammi. TooTall made $100, Shay made $100, and Jazzy made nothing because she did absolutely nothing."
On Monday, June 10, 2013, Powell allegedly texted McGee: “Hey Andre what was the name of the recruit the tall chic was with Saturday.” McGee allegedly responded: “jaquan lyles (sic) ... some other dudes is looking for tall chick.” The book says that was part of a 22-text exchange between Powell and McGee pertaining to Lyle’s visit.
On June 26, 2013, Lyle verbally committed to Louisville. By September he had de-committed. In June 2014, Lyle was included on the published roster at Oregon, but by September he was dropped from the roster and not enrolled at the school. He eventually committed to Ohio State on June 30, 2015.
I am going to make a leap of faith and credit you for not being stupid or at least being capable of understanding English...I assume English is your first language, if not forgive me.
To "make up" implies to lie in order to deceive.
To recreate means to reproduce a copy of the original. Maybe I am telling you something you didnt know but when you watch a movie where they say this is a recreation of the assassination of Lincoln....they didnt have actual video cameras filming it. Its actors recreating the FACTS...not making up their own facts.
It is clear to all readers that they were recreations of the original texts...and not represented as the actual texts themselves.
Recreated = made up. Otherwise they would have the texts and would not have to 'recreate' them. So 'genius' as you say, try selling that in court. And to your last sentence, just because someone is accused of something does not mean they are guilty. Just admit you are licking your chops hoping it is true.
I'm open to the idea that something went on with McGee and Powell. There is a grain of truth within everything. I'm not open to the idea that this story is 100% true when some of it has already been proven false. How much is true is yet to be seen. If any money was exchanged or if minors were offered then wipe the staff clean and give up the title. Sports fandom isn't something I use to mask insecurities. I watch it for entertainment. If the university supported some of these allegations then I'll just quit supporting them.
If Satan coached UofL and won, half the Card faithful would get a pentagram tattooed on their bellies..
I have heard this before but i have not seen any article to confirm it. Do you have a source for it?I don't see blakeney coming forward now after he already told the NCAA over a week ago that he denied it.
That's great, but you don't recreate evidence in court. You either have the original evidence or you do not. Thanks for your leap of faith. Hopefully you have a soft landing.
Was the author himself... Cady on the radio show? Or is this just Ramsey saying he heard the author had said that?
To recreate means to make a copy of an original... not to make up something. Learn the english language please.
By the way, when was this virus that wiped her records? Was it this past month after UL discovered the news or was this well before UL found out?

Interesting, if he says some were recreated, that means SOME , not all. So by your own argument, there is evidence. The question is, which evidence is the original.
Which is telling to me in itself...how the hell does she even know who Jaquan Lyle isSIAP but NCAA officially interviewed Jaquan Lyle Tuesday night at Ohio St.
I don't agree with your definition of "recreated", although I think "recovered" would probably be a more appropriate term to use. Otherwise, I think you have a very reasonable take for a Card fan. I don't agree with it, but I think it is reasonable.Recreated = made up. Otherwise they would have the texts and would not have to 'recreate' them. So 'genius' as you say, try selling that in court.
