I just read that thread. Literally LOLd the whole time.

It probably deserves its own thread over here.

Anyone who has not read it yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. It is comedy gold from start to finish.

I'm hoping Frank Murphy finds them and kicks every one of their L1C4 arses!!

The best part is that Frank Murphy works for the city of Louisville and studied at the University of Louisville and took his son to the red-white game. I'm sure he's got it out for the Cards...

What a bunch of delusional losers.

He was obviously groomed for the his role in the great conspiracy from a very young age. His studies at the ghetto commuter school, his working at the city and then the finishing touch of taking his son to the game, was part of his master disguise as UK's decades in the making ultimate spy in bringing down UL basketball. Well done tard fans, well done.

Ok we need to pin a thread at the top with just the names and entities that the OTIS fans blame for their own issues. Just this scandal alone I have seen them blame UK boosters, Cal, Matt Jones, K. Powell, Andre M., Ramsey, other hookers and strippers, UK fans, IU, and a book publisher. It's getting real hard to keep up with at this point.

If they would just blame the responsible party (OTIS) this would be a lot more reasonable since they are to blame. Take some responsibility OTIS.

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
Every time bad news breaks there is new paraphernalia to rouse the card fans (I.e. We have your back)
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
The whole premise of putting the program before the players. The sombrero incident. Just look at the Matt jones thread on their board now where Kerry Rhodes is talking about hitting him with batteries.
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
I lose track of their scapegoats as they tend to change daily.
4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread
domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
Even when the school could use the money, president Ramsey is misappropriating funds among a whole host of academic scandals.
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
Their players/coaches encouraging prostitution is pretty sexist
6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
The underdogs were jurich's guys until they got slightly critical. Now you have john Ramsey (who claims to be jurich's friend). Tons of other examples.
7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
The equivalent for them is the media. Everything that can be covered up is.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
They act like pitino and Petrino are agents of morality.
9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
Can't really speak to this one. Others may know more about the corporate support. I know that I've previously heard stuff about papa john but that was awhile back.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
Another example of the program comes before the people (athletes) philosophy.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
They lose their minds when anyone is critical of them and they attack the person when they can't find fault in the ideas expressed.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
Their actions show that they believe themselves to be above the law.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
Anyone remember pitino and "the boys"? That's the whole culture over there.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
They are doing everything to preserve their power. Any normal university would have Ramsey and pitino out of the door months ago.

Funny they talk about propaganda - this is an extremely lefty definition of fascism. There are plenty of historical examples like they describe, but there are also plenty of examples of fascism from the other side that I'm willing to bet whoever wrote this would play down. In fact - they mention academics being censored here (which has certainly happened), but the sad twist now is that nowhere is there a stronger anti-speech sentiment in the West than among academics.

That list mostly describes America lol

I know in Nazi Germany they were anti Christian and pro atheism, loved the arts (Hitler was an artist), had free health care, laws protecting the environment, animal rights, banned and confiscated guns from the people etc etc. in that type of socialism the corporations basically control the Gov. In The socialist government known as Communism it's the Gov that controls corporations.

Here in America we have a capitalist society where you have free will and the populace controls the gov. A people who is free and the laws we follow are based on Biblical principles.
Yes I know that concept is now dead here in America. We now rewrite history to mold it in a way to fit the agenda that is being presently spewed to the people to confuse the ignorant. We are much more closely aligned with fascism than what our country was founded upon. The political battle ground is basically socialist fascism vs socialist communism.

So in essence UL is just following the direction of your leaders.

That's pretty interesting. UL - modern day Nazi/ Gestapo
Not even close and the analogy is not a very well thought out one. The Nazi's embody pure unadulterated evil whereas OTIS is simply ignorant/stupid leading to fatalistic infatuation with all things UK resulting, in the end, a severe inferiority complex. They aren't evil just morons.

Interesting. Both like red and black for their symbols. Both have Ministers of Propaganda. And I could see where the Nazi salute would be the Nazi way of just "thowin your L up, yo." One was prevalent in Germany, while the other is prevalent in the Germantown neighborhood. And last but not least, both will end up with the leaders in a bunker somewhere. [laughing]

The over the top original post is gonna make me admit something I've never admitted in a print. Our UK is the bigger more prominent school, not even close, it's like if basketball in KY were sharing a meal plate, we eat 2/3's of the steak and potatoes and most of the desert. Louisivlle is the underfeed step child. I usually root for the under-dog, in life, in politics, in non-UK sports events. Toss in that a bigger percentage of Louisville fans are Black demographic, and if I were not a born and raised Kentucky fan, I would feel sorry for them and probably root for them like I do for Auburn against Alabama. But I was born and raised true blue. In terms of facism. You have to be powerful and on top to be a fascist. Louisville ain't either.

The crap that is going on. Typical SuCkS mantra "out of control at UofL "

Ever since Jurich and Pitino stepped on campus, SuCkS fans have their knickers
in a bunch.

We all know we whats going on with the uptick in recruiting over at lexington u.
Yet there isnt any UofL insiders over there.

There isnt a radio host in Lexington who claims to be a UofL fan, yet spends
half his time obsessed with the cayuts.

Yes there are jealous academians at UofL, jealous that the athletic department gets
most of the pub. So they cry wolf at every little thing athletes do.

Everyone is human in this. They make mistakes. One thing you and the rest of the blew necks can be rest
assured of. UofL is as corrupt as uofk is............If uofk is clean, so is UofL. The Cards arent signing six five
stars a year.
