Over $1 billion dollars are spent each year on emergency care for illegal immigrants. $1 billion is not the total cost to the program however as many left states have not adhered to the program requirements around identity checks. Therefore, illegals immigrants are being signed up for Medicaid even though they shouldn’t qualify.
Currently, data suggests only 30% of all undocumented immigrants may have private insurance or employer insurance (but they shouldn’t even be working….). That leaves 70% “without” insurance - use some logic.
States like CA and Oregon (no surprise here) decided to make state provisions for full Medicare for undocumented immigrants. No wonder those states are a **** show. This affects the ability for proper timely care to the legal population as millions take up emergency room and physician access.
There’s so much more data but I’m just wasting my time with people who have a socialist mindset.
