Superior talent and the desire to shake off the stink of the past few weeks. It will be telling if the players come out and play with enthusiasm or not. That is on the players and particularly the team captains (who, other than Gause, have been a weak crop this year, in my opinion)

The way things usually go for Rutgers, today's game will be the first of two blowout wins in a row by RU, thus creating the feeling that the team is rallying around HCKF and taking him off the hot seat.
This is how it always plays out for us. So to answer the OP's question, the answer is fate.
