I must have missed something. Alabama clearly face-masked the Georgia guy after the interception, but Georgia got penalized.

It's possible. And if they put Miami in, that would be a travesty.

However Bama ain't getting blown out. They may come back and win.

They have a longer row to hoe now. And they're not playing well at all.

I think the committee has shown that they aren’t going to punish teams for playing a title game. No matter the score, if UGA wins they’ll be 1-1 against Bama with a home loss. Not sure how you can leave Bama out.

Yeah last year, their first CFP, they didn't punish smu. However Bama better make this a close game.

Does 10-3 get left out of the playoffs?
I think they'll get in but maybe the last spot. I see Ole Miss getting matched up with either Bama, Notre Dame or Miami in the first round. I think they could beat Bama and Miami. Don't see them beating ND though, even in vomit hemorrhoid stadium.

It would be ridiculous to keep them out for playing a game others didn’t qualify for. But they have been pretty bad since beating Georgia
Did I hear correctly that bama only had 70 something in total yards in first half? Second half looks no better so it could be easy for the committee to leave them out. 21 -0 UGA now but long way to go.

There should be a rule that if you play in a Conference Championship Game, you can't fall below a team who didn't play.

So you could get passed by a team who won theirs, but not by a team (like Notre Dame or Miami) who didn't play this weekend.

Does 10-3 get left out of the playoffs?
That would be hysterical. And I'd say yes at face value until I found out the 10-3 team played UGA twice (and actually won one of them). But the FSU loss does them no favors for sure and I think ZA gets some of the credit here.

Well it was a dominant win by UGA. But I'm not sure it was a bad enough loss by Bama. Their offense has looked terrible in the losses though. That's a tough decision but..bama may not get in.

Kirk is politicking for Miami. But Miami wouldn't be 10-2 with bamas schedule. People talk about the FSU loss for bama. Miami lost to two unranked teams. Anyways, Vandy deserves the spot. But it will be Miami.

This is why the committee flipped Alabama and Notre Dame last week. There was no reason Alabama should’ve moved ahead of Notre Dame after barely beating Auburn while ND blew out Stanford. But they did it in case Alabama lost to Georgia, they can “punish” Alabama by moving them back one spot, but still keep them in the playoff. My prediction is that ND will be 9, and Alabama 10. Miami is out.
