You are correct, the kid currently playing QB at EM has never played at WM . He has been playing sports on the east side forever (atleast since he was 6 years old ).

I think the battle was won on the field and each team has benefited from it. No need to sling mud but since it's obvious you have some bitter feelings let's leave it at both teams are having great seasons and both are happy with the decisions that were made by all involved. There's a lot of history surrounding the two individuals involved and let's not air that out on a message board.

Yes, WRH and JK both will be 2A and should have last realignment. I for one think the playoffs should determine classification. Play the teams that are within 1 classification of your school for during regular season for conference play and then seed the eligible teams by ADA. WRH and JK wouldn't have the banners they do if that were to have been the case.

Nothing ever changes any time you win a championship there are always those who say you should have been in another classification trying to downplay your accomplishments. maybe you can get an asterisk inserted in the record books saying wrh and jk really shouldn.t have those rings.

Probably so. You could take the top out of every classification and say that. You can only play who is in front of you in the playoffs. WRH has got one, as the smallest 2a. You could always write the scenario against certain teams if you wanted. WRH has almost always fielded a team capable of playing with and sometimes beat anybody close to their size larger and in some cases decent 3a and 4a schools.

Yes, that was a long Bus trip up to Mt. Airy. Lol, I had to use the bathroom when the Fan Bus left Albemarle

Then swain booted them out of the playoffs straight into the 2a classification, but man the RedHawks team that came to MA in 2012 was flat out nasty

I've never known him to plAy at West. Did hear from a pretty reliable source that his dad considered moving to the lake so GW could play at WM. That was after his freshman season when the HC had pretty much decided Maynor was his man the rest of the way.

He has never played at WM, I think BD had him mixed up with someone with the same initials, hence his silence when I asked for him to enlighten me on the current EM qb ever playing for WM.

Duplin County football more specifically either WRH or JK will dominate at the 2A level. Duplin County has always had top notch talent

How 'bout some predictions!!!!!!!!!!!???????????
Will Mt. Airy, Mitchell, and/or Murphy be small??
All three are in the top echelon in 1-A !
Which teams besides North Stokes will not qualify?
Can East Wilkes, Cherryville, or Bessemer City challenge West Montgomery or East Montgomery? (if the previously mentioned top three are small)
Which team will produce an upset the first round? sleepers!!???
Who will be moved west?
I am really interested in the west playoffs!
Will the large 1-AA western finals really be played the last regular season game of the Yadkin Valley Conference?
Have injuries hit any of the top contenders?

My predictions is West Montgomery and Mt. Airy or Murphy (whichever is in 1AA) battling tor the right to play Wall Rose Hill, who will win it all, again. Many really good teams so everything is a total guess until those good teams start playing each other.
