I like the conferences chances to go 4-1 this week. I personally do not have a lot of knowledge on stuart-cramer. The Owen game in my opinion will be very interesting, I've got the warhorses pulling away, but dont count out north henderson.

Troy Hoilman should have a very big week, another player to watch is sheehan from heritage.

Possible Upset: Don't count out north henderson.

Hopefully Mitchell executes better this week, while they have won easily the past couple of weeks they haven’t been especially sharp. Not bad just not sharp. Granted Pittman has went to his bench earlier and more often than the past. Which in the long run should help them.

Carver better have a really good offense to put points on the board.

Avery will put up numbers but can they stop N. Wilkes.

I think Owen gets 4 starters back this week and should roll.

Madison well they are in trouble. Just hope the kids keep playing hard.

I don’t think the Heritage v Cramer game will be as close as y’all think. Cramer only beat Lincolnton by 3 and putting up 34 on east Gaston has not been hard. This game should really tell more about Heritage than anything we have seen yet.

Really excited for Brevard. I feel they are on the right path. We should demolish Madison. Jv team played whole 2nd half against Rosman. Rosman handled Madison no issues. Should be long night for Madison. I have been gone from the area have only moved back recently. What is the deal with Madison? I know they have a coaching change on a yearly basis, but why?

Madison has the same problem ever other bad program has. they don't have the right coach and even if they did ..He would not be giving time to built the program..Madison has potienial ,but if you can't get the kids out to play and you fire your coach ever year nothing ever changes ..Madison had one Damn good team a few years back that if I'm not mistaking they beat Shelby in the playoffs..

It was 2012, they went 12-2 and lost a close game to Shleby in the 4th round. That was Madison's only season with a winning record.

Correction, they beat Shelby in the 3'rd round 28-21, and lost in the 4'th in Denver NC to East Lincoln. I was at both games.

I picked N Wilkes too. Not shocked I picked wrong as much as the score. After the NB game just wasn't sure about Avery so with that and NW 3-0 but every team they've beating hasn't won a game so there's that.

Cherryville is one of the worst programs in the state. They've been outscored in they're last 3 games like 170 to 6. They have 1 win over a pitiful Christ the King from week 1. They belong in the conversation with North Moore and South Davidson.

Poor Cherryville is really sad. We played them for years in our youth league and the kids that would probably be making up the varsity team was pretty bad. The whole youth program really was

Avery should be 5-1 heading into conference play. Should win the next 2.Cloudland want have anything for them this year I think.

Let me rephase. Avery can put up points but in conference can they get stops. That’ll be the question. Avery is definitely on he right track with a good hire as head coach. Avery was always a contender,in the WHC and Avery being relevant is good for he WHC

Though I wonder if Madison will even be around, I don't know if there's any fact or just rumors but with them having to drop JV just to have enough on varsity some speculation has been that they may drop football all together.

Patton is 2A .in the proposal thier going by last year's ADM numbers- Patton was 821 same as Owen. Larger 1A schools like Avery will become 2A. In the playoffs 5A and 1A will have 32 teams while 2A 3A & 4A will split into A & AA like they do now.

You guys have one of the best coaches in the state. I remember when he coach enka ,the dude cam flat coach. Avery is on the rise.

I’m wondering if Avery may start getting kids from TN the next few years. Cloudland new coach is a good person but not a head coach. If he stays I’m wondering if they will even have a team next year. There has been a lot of talk about Hampton and Cloudland combining at some point.

I think Avery can and will win some conference games this year. While I don't see them putting up 50 points on heritage's defense, wins against Polk and Owen definitely aren't out of the realm of reality. Factoring in the fact that they play Mitchell to end the season, the history those two have could lead to a very good game, potentially an upset. Avery hasn't played Mitchell a real game since 14. And that was a great back and forth affair. Personally, I hope that game comes down to the wire. Mitchell and Avery are tied 23-23-1 all time, a battle royale for the tie breaker would be a dandy way to finish the season.
