My brother owns a construction company and business has been very good for about 3 yrs now. Took a long time to recover but he is back to where he was pre-recession except he has fewer people on his crew.

In 2014 we had two estimates to redo our 1940 master bath. It is 7x9 or 63 sq feet. None iof thr materials were upscale. No major plumbing changes. The estimates came in at 19 and 20k. $300 a sq foot doesn't seem like those guys needed the business. I don't think any Construction company from Raleigh to Baltimore is hurting right now.

Translation: "Obama had already fixed Construction, so of course everyone in it is OK and has been for at least 3 years now".

OM your partisanship is so transparent it's beyond obvious.

You have the gall to accuse me of not being open to debate?

You're a cardboard cut out of sycophantic Democrat ebullience.

Check yourself Hombre.

The 2.5 yrs I lived in Parkersburg was eye opening. We had a huge oak tree taken down for 600 and we paid an electrician 250 labor to run new electrical conduit and wiring to the front of the house and garage. He charged literally 40 an hour. In this house In richmond, We remodeled our kitchen ourselves. We paid to have it re-wired. I have 4 under cabinet lights and two under cabinet outlet strips to install. Everything is wired and I have the parts. I kid you not, the estimate for 3 hrs of labor from the first company was $850. I did the first power strip myself.

I think he is an idiot. But for none of you conservatives have the balls to call this him out. You think this is funny or cool. He has no respect for anyone who gets in his way. No respect for our system of government if you are going to mock a federal judge. I am not even against the EO. Most Americans are for it but you have to do it right. He f-Ed the execution originally. Now it was overturned at least temporarily and instead of him doing the right thng, he tweets like a pu$$y and mocks the judge.

I thought you had more sense than this. Like Trump said, he could shoot somebody and nonody would care. Obviously his fans wouldn't.
Ovomit had "0"respect for the American way of life! And the "Traitor in Chief" went around congress to shove his egotistical agenda down EVERY AMERICANS throat!! So who's calling the kettle black now?

I truly don't care to. We had 8 years of liberals just letting the government do whatever. They tried to elect another, even worse. Screw 'em, they made their bed.

I'm sorry if I implied you're not really a Democrat shill (as long as you're not)

I just read your posts and I see you "apologizing" for anything and almost everything that involves Government or some Democrat running it.

Is it all bad? Probably not.

I do struggle though OM to find much of it that actually works as designed. I'll keep an eye out to see if you're as critical of as much of it that actually does not work as you are eager to defend what little of it if any is actually working as designed or intended.

So please accept my apology if it is warranted.

As long as he keeps doing what he's doing with his policies, I couldn't care less about the sideshow crap.

I think his opponents or detractors are more upset with the fact that he is actually doing what he said he'd do than what he is actually doing.

They first didn't believe he'd ever get the chance to keep his promises (because they thought Hillary would drown him) and now they're freaking out that he's really doing what he promised.

Most folks are so used to politicians lying to them (ie: Obama saying ''if you like your doctor or health plan, you can keep it") that they're somewhat in a state of shock that Trump means to do what he promised.

ie: Build the wall, fully vet Muslim nationals seeking entry into the U.S., bring American manufacturing jobs back onshore, restore our energy independence, repeal Dodd-Frank, roll back regulations)

They're frankly stunned he's doing what he promised.

Imagine that?

I don't know you, but it seems that you just hate anything you consider to be liberal

That would be a pretty fair characterization of how I view most allegiance to Government or State sponsored income redistribution Original Mountaineer1. I'd accept that.

Know why?

Because It doesn't work. It is plain and simple designed failure, no matter how much you or the Left massages it, camouflages it, sanitizes it, homogenizes it, pasteurizes it, obfuscates it, or advocates it, the results are always the same.

Failure.

It's the only option you have to defend it...to lie about it or describe it as something other than what it is...Government's ultimate control or authority over every aspect of our lives in virtually every decision we make. You can't argue for its success rate or even it's effectiveness because by any way you want to measure it, it fails. The track record of Government income redistribution is riddled with defeat.

I don't have a problem debating any aspects of it because I enjoy arguing when I know I'm not arguing from a losing proposition. The Left almost entirely cannot defend Leviathan, because everywhere it is objectively measured, it has proven historically to be an abject failure. That is simply it's historical record.
State sponsored Socialism..or quite simply "Statism" is an unmitigated disaster anywhere it has been fully instituted.

The American people are not stupid. Deceived? Yes. Which is why the Left practices it's deception so expertly in its attempts to trick us into believing Government central control actually works better than Freedom.

But when it's exposed, compared, objectively evaluated, and particularly implemented against other solutions, it almost always comes up deficient and the American people understand this which is why when they are given a clear choice of it against Freedom, it is always rejected in favor of Freedom.

It's why they are systematically rejecting both its practice and premise. It doesn't work. It hasn't worked. It can't work. It will never work. More and more Americans are coming to realize this, so this is why the Left is becoming unglued on an almost daily basis. They're "God" is being summarily rejected by the people.

So you keep believing it will work one day OM, and like most on the Left you will continue to lose the argument with the American people unless that is of course you are still somehow able to deceive enough folks such as yourself who have also been expertly deceived about it, and blindly continue to support it.

You are 1000% wrong. Errors come in degrees of importance. Trump screwed up an executive order. Obama screws up healthcare sign up for the entire nation after they spent months and months planning and over $1 billion building a website. One is incredibly more important than the other and a much, much bigger screw up. Only a blind ideologue would not see this.
.

There you go again. Replying by deflection by something I did not say. Nowhere in my post did I mention one mistake being worse than another -- that is evidently what you read but was not mentioned in my post. If you read it again you can verify that fact. A mistake is a mistake no matter how big or small. Sure some have far greater impact than others but that was not the subject was it?

You need to read what you post.

A screwup is a screwup; it is still a mistake. You can't be just a littlebit pregnant, you are or you are not.

That is the very definition of claiming there is no differentiation. I correctly pointed out that you are wrong. There are degrees of mistakes. Some very small and some very big. You seem to acknowledge that in your post above after being called out.

And yes, it was the subject of the point I was making. Obama's mistake was much, much bigger than Trump's. And it did have a far greater, negative impact.

SCOTUS will overturn this one. They give great deference to the President on issues of National Security. You're right, the judge has no idea of the dangers posed to this country and he was wrong with this decision. Another Fed judge in Mass ruled in just the opposite way.

Jennine Pirro said it best in the video 82 posted. The President has broad Constitutional discretion in this matter,(National security) and no Foreign National's request to enter this country takes precedence over the President's responsibility to protect Americans or any American citizen's rights to be protected.

It will be reinstated (travel restrictions)

We have 2 diametrically opposed perspectives in America and it would help the discussion if everyone agreed on that.

Majority of Americans:
The Muslim baby that needed life saving surgery got it because of the federal court decision. I feel good about that.

Trumpians:
On the other hand, that baby might have been bottle fed c4. And what that baby ever do for us.

grow the F up Donnie. There are many options in the hands of a prez but elects the teenage boy angle. Surprised he didn't call Robard's wife ugly while he was tweeting or attack his national origin

Pence in 17 please
Trump is an "illegitimate president," so why would you "stolen seat" lefties care?
