Which new head coach looks to have the best 1st season?

15 college football head coaching changes in ONE season, 8 by Power 5 schools. Turnover like that in any industry would be catastrophic. Of course, a lot of it is a game of musical chairs.

Bring on GaSo, Liberty, Maryland and the October Octopus Onslaught in the Big 12! I'm ready for some football, Mountaineer football!

I'll go with Paul Chryst at Wisconsin. They went 11-3 last year, have plenty coming back, and a favorable schedule (aside from the opener against Alabama).

Michigan would be the biggest bust if Jim Harbaugh doesn't live up to at least half the hype. Michigan thought the problem was Rich Rodriguez. A decade later, they know it was them. So they turned to their best idol, Harbaugh. Much like WVU turned to Oliver Luck to improve their lot, which he did, replacing coaches in several sports, getting a new baseball stadium, getting WVU into the Big 12. We owe Oliver Luck a great debt of gratitude. Just like Fred Schaus before him, he cleaned up the problems facing WVU. Schaus brought solvency. Luck brought respectability. The jury still is out over the football choice, but Dana looked like a lock when he was hired. Colleges all over the country were clamoring for him, because of his QB/offense success. But 2015 is Dana's put up or get out season.

Bring on GaSo, Liberty and Maryland before the October Octopus Onslaught of the Big 12! If WVU is 7-0, a national playoff spot will beckon Mountaineer fans.

This year, Michigan should be much improved with the Harbaugh factor but I agree that Wisconsin will also be one of the best on the list. My brother-in-law is a Michigan grad and even he questioned how long it would be before Harbaugh's attitude also became counterproductive in Ann Arbor.

Harbaugh is an *** and it doesn't take long for him to wear out his welcome. Of course winning makes everyone overlook the douchiest of douche bags.

Great! That means I don't have to deal with YOU any more. Go, big red type. You won another victory!

Now, let's get my alma mater to 7-0 so we can all dream of a national championship, at long last. A century plus a decade is WAY too long to wait!!!

The thing about CFE's posts are that if you have read one in the last 6 months then you have read them all.......

He has been a broken record since he ratted out Mickey's senility and accused Vernon of banning him over on the Scout board...

I was not aware that five years was considered a "decade" back in the 1800's when you went to school.
