I'd like to dislike this if I could. Lol. In all seriousness they were very good. Joe brown and Brandon Reid were bad men. I think if we could have played on a dry field we would have lost by 28 instead of 48.2003 South Point team was special. If you seen them play no details are needed. Outscored their opponents 249-55 in the playoffs and 752-130 for the year.
that 2007 team was not even close imo to being the best@Shotgun-Spread @FBCapitolofNC
Obviously, you guys would have more knowledge of your past teams than I would, but that 07 team was very impressive, too.
Won't mention who I think our best team ever was, but another school I was impressed with was that 1999 High Point Central team, just a flat out phenomenal team, super fast, players that excelled in track, too, most notably Chuckie Reed.
Yep! 2016 for me, though, so much depth on that team, as was the case with that '86 team.I'd like to see '86, 2006, and 2016 all play a round robin.
Nice catch and run touchdown on the first play of the game versus Shelby in the Western Finals that year, it's you.I'm too young to remember all of the Pisgah state championship teams from the 70's. So, I'll keep it in my lifetime and say the 2006 Pisgah team. (I was on that team, so I'm trying my best not to be biased.) Lol.

Yea it was hard to pick 2013 over 2007 both of those teams were incredible top to bottom.2007 j.k. defense was best I have ever seen.
Good question, because every player in that backfield went D1, which was incredible. However, the 2016 team would have defeated that team, in my opinion, too much depth and size, and those teams back then couldn't defend the pass, because everyone was running those old, one dimensional offenses back then, practiced and played against the run only. We went to the championship in '88 in hopes of 3 peating and got smoked, because that was the first time we ever saw The Spread, and a team that could throw it all over the place. Chuckie Burnett and Burlington Williams bombarded that team with an air assault not ever seen in Shelby. You miiight be a little biased...nah. It is definitely one of our best teams since I been watching. Offense and defense were both crazy good. It's funny. because when I think of those 80's teams they seem so big. But I was just a kid, I guess. They were probably no bigger than our teams now.
So - I've heard you say no running team could beat us now...what about 86 Lions? Would our 2016 defense be able to stop that running offense?
Actually Cummings not Williams. That team was crazy good with the "day glow" striped ballGood question, because every player in that backfield went D1, which was incredible.
