Pros you bring your tailgate on a boat and party the whole way up the Hudson instead of being stuck in a car for an hour and 1/2 each way. Sight lines during the day and New York skyline at night were awesome. It's a very well run operation your boarded and go, not a lot of waiting around. Plenty of bathrooms, wait not too bad, you can walk around on three levels. Only con you get there an hour before the game and leave 45 minutes after so not a lot of time to see the campus. If your into that stuff. My group of 12 has already decided to do it again next year just to see Army.

Agree 100% with these pros. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I already looked at next year's Army schedule and saw that they have a home game vs Lafayette on 10/15 and North Texas on 10/22. The Fall foliage should be at peak color on these Saturdays, plus it should be warmer to sit on the outside deck.

There are lots of boats running in the fall. A fav is the paddle wheeler "River Rose". Its not as big as the other but its not as noisy either. They do brunches and such. Cold Spring is a nice place to visit and a lot of the boats stop there. The Union Army's civil war foundry is tooled-up and open for visits now.

My buddy does party boat excursions out of Weehawken. A bunch of us went to an Army -RU game about 10 years ago, he still does them. About $20 per person, all the beer and potatoe chips you want. He's flexible too when to go and depart. If anyone wants Miguel's number message me.

Not sure I want to spring for the luxury cruise. Does he have any economy excursions?
