Ahhh, the one that wants Rupp's name removed? Makes perfect sense now.
It wasn’t just him that wanted to do it though moron. He said something stupid earlier this year and you’ll hold it against him the rest of his life. You’re such a snowflake

That's wrong and she's an idiot. See how easy that is? Enough with the whataboutisms. You seem to be more offended by kneeling than an insurrection where 5 people died.
Just pointing out YOUR hiposracy...where were you when all this with queen Maxine and her minions were all doing this? The thing that happened at the capital is a black mark on the entire country not just Trump voters! I can show you plenty more of the same rhetoric, but won't unless you press me, but better still gi do your own research from many of those on the cdp/ccp isle.

Anyone who thinks that this kneeling business doesn't harm the basketball program is totally tone deaf to the situation.

But carry on supporting it. People in influential positions need to see the results of it before the nonsense will end-- and one result of it will be the loss of high paying jobs associated with the program. Another result will be a very dramatic loss in the revenue that is generated by the program.

But at this point, it needs to happen.

So support the kneeling nonsense as often and as loudly as you can.

Us fans eagerly await the results.

Sounds like it harms your mental health more than it harms the basketball program

Well, sounds like he said/suggested/instigated something stupid yesterday, so evidently he didn't learn a damn thing with all that time off.

He was asked about it and answered the question. He himself did not instigate it, it was a team decision. You’re really over blowing though, as are others. No need to burn your UK gear

I'm totally at peace with the matter. Changes need to be made to the program and nothing will bring them about any faster than this kneeling business.

So talk it up!

UK Basketball players are treated like IDOLS in the state of Kentucky. We ALL want what's BEST for EVERY UK player, especially those that feel oppressed or discriminated against. But to lump our state and the city of Lexington into all of the turmoil going on in other parts of the country is EXTREMELY short sighted. Cal and the UK Administration could have handled these kids concerns in NUMEROUS other MORE beneficial ways. Now this incident has actually done the OPPOSITE of what it was intended to do.

I know a few big money donors that are EXTREMELY upset with this action and photo on UKMB social media of our team kneeling. UK will MOST definitely have to reckon with the MONETARY consequences of this action.

Donations, ticket sales, merchandise sales and viewership will ALL take a hit. How big will be determined by how this proceeds going forward.

This is just a fact that UK will have to deal with.

Well, take a midol and go to sleep. You will feel better after a nap. Come back to see me next week.
Take a Midol? Is that what you took when you were crying this morning in the paddock saying you were deleting your account? I see you are still here posting. Typical.

I did that back in the summer, after Cal asked me to support a terrorist organization. Retired my UK golf bag, my UK driver head cover, cut off and changed my UK putter grip, burned all my UK shirts and caps. I was supporting my sports program of choice, which had lasted for 56 years. I refuse to be told what my political beliefs should be.

No one told you what your political beliefs should be. Sounds like you just hate anyone who’s beliefs differ from yours

Wrong again. Anybody can vote and support anything they want to, just don't use the UK sports program to do it, and especially ask the fans to support it, when they may not believe in it. Keep politics out of sports. It is not that hard to do.

I just don’t see why there’s so much outrage over them sharing their views.

JFC guy, are you blind in one eye? How did that even happen? Anyway, I'm sorry I wasn't here to denounce everything that happened before last Wed. All I'm saying is, some of you seem more outraged over some young guys kneeling than with what occurred at the Capitol. Your response was to bring up **** from last year and deflect. It's not a game btw, as if libs scored riot points last year and the right scored last Wed. And I'm not even sure what you mean by "unless you press me". It's a sports message board. Really no reason to be as pissy as you seem. It's a Sunday, relax. Or I don't know, stay pissed over some teens kneeling? You do you friend.

It’s weird. If I wanted to know who approved the team kneeling then a message board would probably not be the first place to start.

Last time I checked, I don’t think Capiluto has an account on here and neither does Mitch.

I do think they have email addresses. Would the OP like to start there? Perhaps you could email them or someone else in the UK administration.

But what they are kneeling for has nothing to do with supporting burning down cities. You do realize that, correct?

Yea, it's to protest the fake idea police are hunting down and murdering innocent unarmed black people. Nevermind Michael brown, George floyd, breonna Taylor, and the rest of their martyrs are criminals and just bad people. Most being violent criminals.

I didn’t agree with a lot of the Breonna Taylor stuff. Doesn’t mean I can’t understand it.
