As much as I dislike a couple of their posters I do have ED winning the east. Then reality will set in when they find out they have no chance against the western teams without any passing attack. I wish the Hertford County Bears could find a way to play some defense or that Clinton could represent the east. At least then one of our eastern teams would have a chance at winning the state cship.

Goob, after you came and watched the WRH vs East Duplin game you said neither team looked to be championship game caliber. And you said you were high on Clinton. What has made you flip on East Duplin and Clinton?

I’d have to go back and see what I posted but I’m fairly certain I said neither team would win the state championship. I stand by what I say about teams that can only run. I love Hertford County but unfortunately I think their season will end in 8 days. If they played defense like ED then nobody would beat them, credit the ED coaches,, I am still high on Clinton and I know they can win tomorrow. Go Darkhorses!

Well I was right last Friday when I had us losing to Wrh. I was wrong on the Holmes game though. I hope Clinton wins because they’re not based out of DC. Pulling for Blackwell to go off and would love to see @Wizard of the East posts after a win. Going to be tuned in and listening to @Darkhorse04 while watching on NFHS.

had Wrh beating NE after we lost our best player to injury during our first rd playoff game, that was no secret. Your right I did have hope when we were winning big and I even thought we’d win the game in the final two minutes. I was quite surprised we Kept it so close without our star.One player caused ya team ro lose come on Goob u think having a running back would’ve gave y’all the edge what beat ya team was fatigue the defense gave out of gas plain n simply ya defense never got to rest you scored so fast n then onside kick didn’t give ya boys no rest and execution of offense in the second.
