Geez ,listen to the latest tkr podcast -- its consisent with what politi reported as to his reasons-- more to do with his wanting to get to nba and fact at ru he wouldn't be in a starters role at the position he aspires to
Towards the end of the year and based on his performances, he didn't deserve a starters role at Rutgers...he could wish the NBA all he wants, but how realistic is that expectation? Yes, maybe he could get more minutes as a starter elsewhere in college as he must realize there are multiple people who probably deserve more minutes than him.

I am wondering out loud....if Paul said immediately after the season he was coming back would Noah Fernandes be here?
Interesting question.

I want to believe the answer is yes, because it’s the right move for the roster and Pike would be trying to improve the team. I think that’s likely because Pike brought him in before Paul decided (allegedly) with the expectation he would be back (allegedly).

That leads you then to wonder still what Pikes plans definitively were for his usage and we will only ever be able to guess.

I think the answer is yes. If your Noah, you chose to come to RU knowing it could be possible Paul would be back. If that outcome was a problem for Noah, he wouldn’t have signed because the was no guarantee.

Paul played awful toward the last couple of months of year and that was probably the biggest reason we were left out of the tournament. The addition of Noah was mandatory and anyone who does not recognize that was not paying attention. He couldn’t even make a lefty lay up. We will be infinitely better with Noah playing point next year and people need to get over Paul’s loss and move on

This tweet was four days before his farewell RU tweet. An "eye-opening" NIL summit.
