Exactly what you want from an onside kick. Not sure why #98 is out there. Looked slow and clueless to where the ball was.

I know the back up QB is the most popular guy on campus. But let's try and remember last year...Simon played last year....this was not a good game from Gavin but it's growing pains...what you want to see is him come back next week and play mistake free football and eventually toward the end of the year you'd hope that he can win you some games as an experienced QB..

Need to start winning these games. Only Rutgers can manage to seemingly never pull the rabbit out of the hat.

Wimsatt looked better throwing at the end. I did not think this was a terrible performance. The defense is definitely upper echelon. The offense needs some help, but guys like Strong give me encouragement. I also like that there was no quit.

Oh, F' the refs. Needed to get that off my chest.

On Schiano & Cirrocca. The key play was on 1st & goal & we ran into the middle of the line. Did you know it was coming? I did & you can be sure as **** Wisky knew it was coming.
If we played more open in the first half like we did 2bd half..who knows.

At this point … start planning to run an academy type offense … wishbone … triple option … can’t be much worse than this.
Those offenses would need somebody who knows how to coach those offenses, which would be a change of pace. Friedgen was the only OC at RU in the last decade who actually knew how to teach the system that he installed.

Question for those few of you who can refrain from snark: is it possible for Wimsatt to have played the last quarter and score a TD if he had been concussed? I’ve only had one concussion my whole life and I was out for a while. Asking those with more experience in these things.

Not really. He's average. Got away with scrambles with his linemen mugging our guys. Hardly any good throws.
We are rushing outside when there is less than zero chance they are putting ball in the air. Just clog the middle and contain outside wtf
