Chief Denson has been laundering money through the casino. There are also allegations that he was doing it for organized crime. Since the election he has been trying to repay some of the money to the mob and it has created quite a mess.

Several from the accounting department have been sent home and it is rumored that Denson has been destroying records and doctoring the books to cover up his laundering scheme.

There are other rumors that if everything is uncovered, there are several elected officials in the jackson area that will be involved and that this reaches as far as New York.

Not saying I believe any of this or have the inside info, just stating what I have seen on several other websites (none of them exactly reliable).
