Oxford, Ms (AP)- Apparently dissatisfied that coaches Tony Dungy and Jon Gruden had only won a Super Bowl each, the Mississippi Bears search committee in charge of hiring a head coach for the school has decided to drop both coaches from their interview list. The head of the committee, former Bear QB and New Orleans Saint Archie Manning, said that the coaching resumes of both coaches were good, but not "Oxford-worthy". Said Manning- "after the all the success our football program achieved in the 1950's and 1960's, we believe we can do better than a couple of out-of-work coaches". Manning went on to say that the school had plenty of money, and would pay whatever it took to get a Bill Belichick or a Mike Tomlin to campus. As Manning put it- "Why would anyone not want to leave Boston or Pittsburgh to go live in Oxford, Miss. We even have Grenada, Miss nearby- and they have a nice lake."<div>
</div><div>Manning was also asked about the rumors about his son Peyton, leaving the NFL to become the schools offensive coordinator. Archie replied "Peyton has done everything a QB can do in the NFL and he has a stiff neck. He realizes he has lost to fire to compete, and would just enjoy calling plays for his daddy's school that used to be good 50 years ago". Peyton Manning was unavailable for comment, as he was in player meetings with the Indianapolis Colts when contacted.</div><div>
