Betcha Donnie is on the top of Wisconsin's list. Rutgers would do itself a favor by getting him back here before he digs his claws in anywhere.

Donnie's a head coach now, he's not moving any where for an Associate Head coaching position. Plus, Wisconsin is defunding the wrestling program thus the slow decline.

Yeah, Pritzlaff isn't going to Wisconsin to become an assistant. We've also heard he and his family don't want to move out of the area right now (and supposedly turned down MD previously), so that limits his D1 head coaching options to Columbia, Rutgers, Princeton, Rider, UPenn, Drexel, Lehigh.

I didnt know Wisconsin was moving in that direction. What a shame. And my wishful thinking wasnt to have Donnie back here as an associate HC. I want him here as a HC.

Wisconsin offered Donnie the job years ago but he didn’t want to leave the area. I don’t see it being any different with his school aged kids.

Below link was published 8/19/25 & updated 3/21/26. If anyone has a subscription, can you extract SG's contract details? I'm seeing different dates within various AI summaries - so I'm curious what is stated in the actual article. Thanks for any help in advance.

Kind of surprised nobody has publicly addressed the tournament yet. That's one thing I credit Tom Brands for. Win, Lose or even lose embarrassingly, he's on the camera moments afterwards sharing his thoughts.

Looks like it's 4/30/27, not 2032 (rest of staff looks to be 4/30/26). @elvis7 where'd you see 2032 that you mentioned:

Thanks @Leonard23 & @elvis7. I'd agree - all things considered here, it'd seem the 4/30/27 date is the correct one. This would also be in line w/ what was thought to be a 3 year extension after his last one expired (after the 23-24 season).

2027 end of contract certainly makes things more interesting. As an aside, funny handle you have. Instantly made me think of this dude:

I may have missed it. Has Coach Goodale addressed the tournament with the media or in the newsletter sent to fans? Many coaches have discussed the results of the tournament and plans moving forward.
