The Big Ten is a major wrestling conference with 7 of the Top 10 teams at the nationals, but Rutgers had more national champions than any Big Ten school but Penn State. Amazing! Also RU was one of those Top 10 Big Ten wrestling teams and finished 9th at the nationals. Coach Goodale was also 2019 NCAA Championships Coach of the Year. Congratulations to Suriano and Ashnault, the entire Rutgers wrestling team, and Coach Goodale and all the coaches! GO RU!

Amazing to look at. Simply amazing. And OSU denied any national champions, and PSU 2 losses as well. Just incredible, Rutgers wrestling baby !!

NJ had 4 champs

Came close to 5 but Joey McKenna lost in OT - some might say his loss was questionable.

Also came close to 7 by seeding with Rivera & Martin. Martins loss was unexpected. Most thought he would breeze to the title

Can you imagine having 7 out of 10 champs coming from NJ? Well, 6 came pretty darn close

There is an article up on the FB board that says he gets bonuses for all-americans, natl champs, academic aa's and I believe coach of the year from a specific poll.
