If only there was a way to watch it
The ROH Global Wars show will be on Honor Club. Don't know if it will be live or not. Don't know where MLP airs their shows. It's Scott D'Amore's company so he uses a bunch of TNA people that I never cared much for to begin with so haven't paid much attention to it beyond the first show. Good Brothers are advertised for that weekend so I'm expecting more of the same crap as usual out of the MLP show.

Speaking of TNA, did any of you that watched last week plan on watching again this week? I'm sure you can imagine what my answer is after the review I gave of last week :ROFLMAO:

I recorded it and deleted it the next day after reading everything about the show. I don’t plan on making an effort tonight either.

I literally had no plans on watching but it was being review bombed so bad I was like "There's no way it's THIS bad, this is just sensationalist tribalism because people hate TNA has gotten in bed with WWE"

Would have been nice if it had just been tribalism for once.

Will Ospreay vs. Josh Alexander not long before Will left NJPW for AEW was an amazing match though not going to lie.

I really wish they would go back to where they were doing some of the glory days when they were regularly featuring young people from the indies. They used to have ROH staples on there on the regular then they had to go screw that up by telling the wrestlers they got to be exclusive to TNA when they weren't paying particularly well. I mean they were paying more than an indie would, but not good enough for the vast majority of them to think it was a financially sound decision. No matter who is in charge TNA will always find a way to screw up anything good they ever have going.

They also made the worst possible decision of all time making Okada a lackey/jobber and thus destroying their njpw relationship.

Oh TNA was like going out of their way to screw up that partnership six ways to Sunday. They did an IWGP title switch on TNA TV or PPV without getting permission from NJPW as well.

The TNA-AEW partnership didn't end as bad but TNA kept doing stuff to screw up that one too. For one example, Josh Alexander was supposed to get his dream match with Kenny Omega out of it, TNA even teased it on their own TV, but then Scott D'Amore decided he didn't want to do it so it never went past that one tease. How you going to tease us like that then not deliver arguably the highest profile crossover match they possibly could have done? Of course AEW wasn't exactly perfect in this whole thing either but that's the one big thing that always stuck out to me.

I say this as someone who:
a) is not an AEW or modern WWE fan and
b) used to watch TNA in the early Orlando days...
so I have no particular axe to grind or bias but...

the TNA show right now is one of the worst things I've ever seen.
i watched some of the AMC debut out of curiosity and i was kinda blown away. the presentation is so...off. soooooo incredibly cheap feeling and the acting is crap and way too many girls matches and horrible creative decisions all over the place. constantly reminding you of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jeff Jarrett...ya know...guys that used to be there and aren't anymore! Good move!

they seem to have doubled and tripled down on the wackiness of the "Broken Matt Hardy" stuff and the like. i guess Scott D'amore still in charge?

What? There was one women's match on the AMC debut, and over half of it was behind ads. ANd last night's episode, according to Cagematch because LOL at giving them a second chance again, also only had one women's match.

Scott D'Amore got fired like two years ago.

Well that match was an atrocity, lol, felt like it went on forever. They couldn’t even run the ropes
And the Dixie carter segment? Why???
the most over people on the show were the Hardys and Kazarian who are all like 50

Like over half of their roster are mediocre or worse people that couldn’t hack it in WWE or AEW (but primarily WWE), young people WWE wanted to still use but didn’t want to pay them the NXT minimum, or washed wrestlers that WWE and AEW didn’t want anymore.

And then they just keep on bringing in sloppy seconds that almost assuredly aren’t going to make any difference instead of fielding a recruiting department to go out there and snatch up some people from the indies they can invest in.

They should thank their lucky stars WBD selectively decided to have some morals and told AEW they had to get rid of Trey Miguel.

Meh, I'll take Trick or Oba's entrance over that. Speaking of, these examples show just how important music and an entrance is. It's a connection to fans. We bought entrance music on cds back in the 90s for a reason.

Shinsuke Nakamura shares an emotional diary on IG about AJ Styles after their final match:
"During last year’s Australia tour, at a house show in Melbourne, AJ gave a speech after the match.
Listening to it, it was clear he was thanking the fans. But somehow, it also felt like he was hinting that retirement might not be that far away.
The tour continued to Japan, and before the shows there, I asked him something.
We were in a van on the way to the meet and greet.
I asked him,
“When are you going to retire?”
He answered,
“The Royal Rumble. I’ve already decided.”
Me…
…!!!
Whether I actually said it out loud or just thought it for a split second, I’m not sure. But I remember it clearly.
“Before you retire, I want to wrestle you one more time.”
AJ nodded.
Before the match started, he showed me something he had written on his phone.
It was a message he wanted to say to the Japanese fans.
He asked me to turn it into proper Japanese.
It talked about his anxiety and excitement when he first came to Japan,
and his gratitude toward Japan for accepting him.
It was, without question, a farewell message.
As his voice, I gave that speech in Japanese, putting as much emotion into it as I possibly could.
That was the moment when his retirement finally started to feel real to me.
Even though it was still a little further down the road compared to guys like Cena or Tanahashi,
I found myself imagining the enormous sense of loss that would eventually come.

Ten years ago.
2016. Tokyo Dome.

It was our first ever singles match.
That match was later praised all over the world, and not long after, we both left New Japan Pro Wrestling and came to WWE.
We never talked about our futures with each other.
I think we just happened to make huge decisions at the same time.
In America, I was just pushing forward without thinking.
I finished NXT and reunited with AJ on the main roster.
AJ, on the other hand, took over WWE like a fish in water.
He brought a new wind everywhere he went.
And honestly, I remember thinking, “Yeah, that figures.”
Our reunion moment at Money in the Bank,
my Royal Rumble victory,
and then our singles match at WrestleMania.
I don’t think any of that would have happened if AJ hadn’t pushed it.
I still have some regrets about what happened after our WrestleMania match,
but the final match of that rivalry, our singles match at Money in the Bank in Detroit,
is actually one of my favorite matches even so.
He’s straightforward, easy to read, and impossible to hate.
His everyday clothes are terrible, and he’s got that Southern American accent.
What a lovely American.
And yet, when it comes to professional wrestling,
his balance of expression and technique is the best in the world.
Truly one of a kind.
I don’t say it out loud, but I rely on him.
I respect him.
And even though we don’t actually know each other as deeply as people might think,
to me, he’s special. Almost like a brother and a best friend, in my own way.
And now…
our final match awaits.
My last chance to give him the perfect send off.
Do your best, me.
And pro wrestling gods, please be kind."

He has said on the podcast that he is boys with the Juggalo's. What surprises me is that Russo is on creative there. How will that work out?

If the Mysterio injury is a work to get Finn in the rumble so be it but if he’s legit hurt (again) he needs to hang it up.

Haven't seen anything official confirming that number. If it is that's really bad.
Impact only dropped a couple of thousand viewers from it;s first week.

Speaking of Dynamite, here's what scheduled.

Where you getting 300K from? Wretlenomics says total viewership is unknown. They did a 0.08 demo so 300K would be extremely unlikely as the two previous weeks also did a 0.08 and got over 500K viewers each. Total viewership that low with a 0.08 demo is virtually impossible. That would mean well over 50% of their over 50 audience didn't watch, which is highly unlikely and wouldn't align with what their total viewership rating of 0.30 was, which is more than half of what the NBA game did.
