That was a bad screwup, but largely inconsequential.I agree with most of that but at least they are sending Mcmg to aaa - bloated rosters were better when you had house shows
Anyone see the glitch during Smackdown that showed Bron Brekker as entrant 1?

One of these years they need to have a top NXT person win it, use that as the chance to call them up in kayfabe, which means brand new main roster contract making a lot more money. Really increases the stakes of it for the people in NXT. Also allows them to make a story beat out of it that they got a big payday, brings some of that prize money type stuff into the mix.1/1 so far Liv was so obvious choice to win.
Did you just call Gunther vs. Styles a bathroom break? Are you the guy that hates Gunther with a passion, I can’t remember? Now time for the bathroom break match
I agree but hhh likes to play it safe - best you prob get is Roxanne last year being runner up or SOL getting final 3.One of these years they need to have a top NXT person win it, use that as the chance to call them up in kayfabe, which means brand new main roster contract making a lot more money. It’s such a layup of a story to run with if you have the right person for it. Like imagine if they had pushed off Oba Femi’s main roster call up in kayfabe and had him win the Rumble. Like just look at him, he’s instantly believable as a winner of a Rumble.
Ah okay. So Gunther is to you what John Cena was for meDon't necessarily hate him. I think he's good, just boring. I don't love to hate him or anything, I just don't care enough about him either way like they want me to. Them making him retire all these people isn't accomplishing what they think it will.
I guess. This is the same way I felt about Theory when they were pushing him 3-4 years ago. Or Roman 2015-2019.Ah okay. So Gunther is to you what John Cena was for me
Funny thing is that Vince treated NXT like a bigger deal than Triple H has and HHH was booking NXT for a while.I agree but hhh likes to play it safe - best you prob get is Roxanne last year being runner up or SOL getting final 3.
Yup I think it was survivor series but I think that was back when nxt had legit guys like Joe/cole/nakamura/leeFunny thing is that Vince treated NXT like a bigger deal than Triple H has and HHH was booking NXT for a while.
Remember when they had that brand battle PPV years ago and NXT got some Ws? Think it was before AEW existed. NXT wrestlers will never get a chance at winning a main roster PLE match anymore with how few matches get booked unless they do a Rumble win or an NXT showcase match on a show like Mania that tends to have bigger cards.
I refuse to believe he really wants to retire in freaking Saudi Arabia. So TNA, I’m sure he’d love to give back to them for all they did to catapult his career.Yup I think it was survivor series but I think that was back when nxt had legit guys like Joe/cole/nakamura/lee
2/2 so obvious aj lost now does he call it a day or go to tna or AEW?
Yeah their men’s NXT roster has never been the same since they stopped relying so heavily on indie talent. The NIL route really isn’t really working out anywhere near as good for the men as it has the women. Probably why I read they are going to be recruiting more from the indies this year.Yup I think it was survivor series but I think that was back when nxt had legit guys like Joe/cole/nakamura/lee

Interesting timing of this tweet
If Gunther is the new 'career killer' as they put it, having Styles last match against him is a good one, just too soon. I said a couple weeks ago here WWE played their cards too soon sending AJ out at the end in January on a PLE overseas. He'll finish up in TNA, maybe even have a title run and beat Mike Santana for the TNA Championship.Don't necessarily hate him. I think he's good, just boring. I don't disagree. A Brock/Gunther match needs to happen this year, it's long overdue. It will be lazy, predictable booking though if Gunther ends up retiring both Lesnar and Jericho in 2026 given everyone he has retired since last summer.I just think they have this idea that Gunther retiring all these people is going to make him have all this nuclear heat and people are going to tune in to see him, and I just don't think that's going to happen.
He should be one of the favorites to win this. If he's not a top champ within a year it's booking malpractice.Oba is a frickin star. Just aura.
Ya I like it tooWonder if they changed plans after the graphic mistake last night or if Bron wasn't supposed to be #1 to begin with?
I do like these lower third graphics they are using for the intros though
That's what I assume. About the same size and had his move set. Would make sense. Eliminating Bron like that is dumb though.Ya I like it too
Seth attacked Bron?
Hobbs errrr Royce
