I enjoy watching Rey Mysterio. Which wrestlers similar to him would you recommend watching from AEW or wherever that have the best acrobatic moves?

Rey Mysterio is his own unique wrestler. I think “Komander” stylistically is closer, but he isn’t as good as Mysterio. Bandido and AR Fox are hybrid wrestlers that incorporate lucha libre but have a lot more versatility and innovation. Haven’t watched in awhile myself other than PPVs, but there are few wrestlers on the planet better than Bandido.

WOR: Trey Miguel’s AEW release "came from up above", but it had nothing to do with Tony Khan.

“No one's really saying much. Well, some people are saying certain things, but my understanding is whatever it is... it came from up above. I know there’s a lot of rumors but it had nothing to do with anybody in AEW talent, anything like that, or Tony [Khan]. Something happened from way up and he was released. That is what we know at this point about Trey Miguel.”

Anyone going to check out the TNA debut show on AMC tonight. They are promoting AJ Styles and Bully Ray being there.
Think Jericho might show up there tonight?
I watched it the next day after hearing how big of a trainwreck it was and I am embarrassed to publicly admit to watching it. That was an amateur hour production from a company that was not remotely ready to be a live TV company from a creative and production standpoint. TNA should just rename themselves NXT Lite and end the charade.
  • The stage looked small time
  • Calling it Hollywood Row and it just being a bunch of random celebrities largely no one has heard or care about - and I like that Dark Winds show
  • They kept showing seas of empty seats because apparently TNA is too stupid to know that empty seats are a bad look
  • The quality of wrestling, what little you could see of it, was worse than an episode of the worst era of Vince McMahon WWE
  • They announced matches for the card without having even had visas secured for the talent. Save for extenuating circumstances on short notice like illness or flight cancellations, don't advertise talent for the show if you can't guarantee they'll be there!
  • Perez Hilton hasn't been relevant in over a decade yet you're giving this clown a mic at the expense of the talent that will be the ones you want people to be drawn into watching on a weekly basis
  • They debuted a "graphic design is my passion" logo for Sonya Deville that looks like SUAT instead of SUIT
  • The announcers desk was a folding table with a cloth draped over it. If AMC can't even pay you enough to upgrade that then just let me know and I'll make the damn thing at cost, just pay for the supplies and cost to ship it to you and I'll cover the rest myself
  • The angle to set up the main event for the PPV just two days later didn't even air because they ran out of time
  • Their two surprises are a new authority figure when they already had one and an OnlyFans Thot
  • They lost like half the roster over the last month then their women's tag champs immediately left the company after dropping the titles. Just screams no one with options wants to be here
  • The ring announcer was awful and even said Bubba Ray was a member of Team 3C
  • Dragging out Dixie Carter expecting her to get cheered, which I assume was they were going for, is proof positive these head idiots in charge have no clue what they are doing creatively and know nothing about their fanbase
This is not a serious company and until Carlos Silva, Tommy Dreamer, and Delirious are out of the company it will continue to be a joke of an operation that's only purpose is to be NXT's bit*h.

Someone from WBD must have been smartened up on his past anti-semitic social media comments about David Starr that he never apologized for. And I can understand having never apologized to a piece of human garbage like David Starr, but alas it is what it is.

Hope Hobbs likes it in WWE and has success. He's a better fit there than in AEW, though i do question how he will fit in there alongside Bron Breaker and Oba Femi given their stylistic similarities and the fact that those two NEED to be pushed as franchise players.

But with all the black male talent being called up from NXT, currently in NXT, and with Hobbs, it's going to be time for Triple H to learn how to start booking black male talent strongly or find a new grift.

Apparently Programming Insider screwed up their chart. It's now changed to a 0.04 in the demo for TNA's premiere on AMC, total viewers no one seems to know.

EDIT: Dave Meltzer saying around 200K for total viewership.

200K and 0.04 is about what I would have expected for the premiere.

Who knows there’s all kinds of speculation but he also dated MJF’s wife so there’s that too

Fightful just dropped a new update confirming as best as he could, since no one at WBD will go formally on the record, that it was about Trey Miguel’s social media homophobic comments from six years ago - not his antisemetic ones - that he basically immediately apologized for. One person at WBD replied off the background saying they can’t speak to the validity of the rumors but if true they don’t agree with it because there’s not an unhealthy pattern of behavior.

So he’s getting the treatment the Briscoes were getting for years by WBD before they finally relented after Jay died. Jay genuinely apologized for his homophobic comments and went well out of his way to change for the better to the point where the most outwardly gayest wrestler alive in Effy vouched strongly for him amongst numerous others who originally came out against Jay for his comments. But WBD still blackballed them.

Basically everyone in AEW he talked to is pissed off about it because WBD is holding AEW to a different standard than everyone else. WBD isn’t canceling deals with people for other programming who have made far controversial comments, and some do then repeatedly, that they never even issued an half as*ed apology for.

Maybe we should all use this Paddock banishment to the shadow realm as a way to curate a better wrestling community. Wipe the slate clean and start anew. Leave the garbage behind that I and others contributed to.

Another message board I frequented for more than just wrestling died and reformed under new moderation with a promise by users to practice more self control while respectfully holding people in check for getting out of line and it’s been a really good experience so far.

So I’d like to extend the olive branch to anyone I’ve pissed off and my haters (which to be fair I’ve earned so I’m not mad about it) and say I’m sorry and I vow to be better this time around.

Still think she needs to change her finisher eventually. The cumulative bumps for that move are not going to be kind to her body down the road.

Impressive spot

I can't work out the geometry in my head of how she does that. Insane move, but she's going to kill herself eventually if she doesn't give it up. She only needs to pull that move out three or four times a year in her BIG matches IMHO.
