Found a picture of NightwishDude, please stop. You're not an insider. Dave is pushing an agenda because he wanted the wrestling world to watch his preferred show and is using a wrestler's death to put shame on WWE and you're following along.
WCW didn't reschedule Nitro for Owen's tribute and a taped Collision wasn't moved because it was 24 hrs after Bray's tribute.
Wasn't it last year when AEW fans complained that WWE was doing a show on another day, 200 miles away as if AEW needs its own weekend in N. America? Where does this entitlement come from? That's not normal to just complain that another company is doing shows too.
You've become such an odd gimmick lol.

I don’t know anything about “amateur” wrestling but that’s a solid looking graphic
Wonder what that dude's finisher is?
He looks like a submission specialist.Wonder what that dude's finisher is?
Is that Chad gable?
I still don't see AEW having much of a use for him, personally.Sheamus is officially a free agent as of today
You're nuts, seriously. The irony of this Nightwash guy using an injury to take shots at AEW, getting defended for it by the YES captain only for Nightwash to then complain about the YES captain “using a wrestler’s death” to perform fed-hate is actually pretty humorous. Idk maybe anyone who pays attention to the Nightwash 24/7 propaganda machine posts should‘ve seen that a mile coming. The guy is territorial as maximally possible and even when I tried to espouse a very relaxed and agreeable, even conversational type of fan banter between AEW/WWE, this guy outright rejected it, demanding to fight fictional turf wars like the worst types of wrestling nerds. Guy does this on every topic: wrestling, music, politics, sports, religion, anything else. His opinions are law and everyone outside of his concentric circle are mouth breathing morons without capacity to understand. Good on the ones defending him to end up getting smacked right in the face with his elitism yet again.
Lol cheers!
Nightwash wins!
Nothing makes me laugh more than nightwish accusing others of tribalism that takes it over the line, while coming back last week tagging Dragon and then making that last post about the Village Idiot.Hey all...
I ain't dead but thanks for the concern lol. I'll be posting less going forward unless something major happens in the wrestling world. The trolling/personal stuff on the board had gotten to a point that I don't find myself wanting to log in much anymore. I've always enjoyed some of the back and forth but over the years some have taken it a few steps beyond that. I've got Discord which I enjoy and none of that happens. Surprisingly people act normal there. Even here it seems like Dragon has calmed slightly on the FED BAD gimmick since I haven't been around, although calling for AEW tickets as a fake-out and then reporting to the thread there's not many left is pure Dragon lol. On3 Meltzer over here jk.
Anyway, the Mexico City Raw was incredible, I'm excited for Sami, I hope no wrestlers die in the Middle East, glad Dragunov will be in AEW and appreciated, I noticed Jericho and someone else tried a Destroyer after Roman/Penta and it bombed spectacularly, and Copeland looks 1,000 years old. Oh, and Dave is still on X arguing with fans like a psychopath.
Point me to where I'm in the wrong.Nothing makes me laugh more than nightwish accusing others of tribalism that takes it over the line, while coming back last week tagging Dragon and then making that last post about the Village Idiot.
We all do it, but he holds himself above the fray.
Yup. WC was already scheduled for a premier and was promoted. While what happened was awful, PAC wrestled in another company and hadn't been in WWE officially since 2018. To believe they should scramble and reschedule an already promoted show because another company was doing a tribute for someone who last wrestled in WWE back in 2017 is sort of crazy. And Meltzer has been wrong like ten times this year and his report is pretty vague. But like the Punk vs TKO rumor, some would have you believe WWE wrestlers really hate WWE.If WWE had purposely scheduled the event after AEW announced the tribute show then it would be different. World's Collide is on YouTube and can be viewed at any time. It's not like fans had to make a choice.
Meltzer is just being his usual ******* self.
Buddy, you started appearing here earlier this year I think. I've complained about WWE plenty over the years, including this year. Again, please stop pretending you know me or everything I've ever said. You don't. You posted a similar personal rant in another thread once as if we were former pals and something bad wrong happened between us. We're strangers lol.Everybody and their mother knew why Worlds Collide was scheduled when it was. It was the same reason WWE schedules an event of some kind during every AEW PPV. Only blind loyalists are incapable of seeing that WWE is trying to cannibalize the wrestling industry like they did the last two times they shamelessly did it. Least they could do — when MANY of their roster and management talent didn’t want to keep the show as-is — was do something. Of course, when they finished the show after the death of Owen, that was fine. When they killed off the territories, that was fine. When they bought out WCW, that was fine. When they tried to take out AEW and continue to try to do so regularly, it is fine. It is the people who want an alternative that are the real problem.
Never mind the fact that Dave is calling it what it is — bad business — you can’t say bad things about WWE, but the same guy complaining about Dave’s comments admits to being a fan of the Drive Thru, a show that has also tried to end the existence of AEW. Also, by the way, a show that regularly kills the business by unraveling kayfabe while simultaneously complaining about everyone else who is killing the business by breaking kayfabe. It’s no surprise that people that enjoy that kind of relentless hypocrisy and regard it as useful programming would also fail to see the irony that you complain about Borden having an injury in the “bad” company, joining into an online circus of bad-faithers, yet also have no issue with WWE mercilessly continuing this endeavor against AEW, who is much smaller in market share….even throughout the sudden death of a performer who also worked for WWE btw.
Sure looks like the moral standard of some is: “What is the “good” company doing?” That’s the epitome of “right”. Also, btw — corporations do not love you….whether it’s WWE or AEW, so the shilling without shame is disgusting. The market benefits when there is more successful wrestling out there, however, so I sure don’t care to call out the wishful people who cheer on the destruction of smaller companies.
Rant over. I’m not apologizing for it though. If you want fair retort, provide fair retorts — simple as that.
And it’s a wonderful thing that WWE has always counter programmed!Owen Hart, Rick Rude and Brian Pillman died during the Monday Night Wars. Scheduled Nitros and Raws didn't get cancelled or postponed.
WWE has always counter programed the competition. Remember that the first Survivor Series was aired on free TV against the NWA's Starrcade PPV.
And if there was an unfortunate death in WWE, I wouldn't expect AEW to cancel programing either.
Let's just enjoy the thread and stop trying to dictate what others say. Deal? I've never said you or anyone else here can't have an opinion but sometimes we will disagree. Let's you and I not do the personal stuff. I've seen you try to steer the thread away from numbers talk. Let's let that happen. It's a wrestling thread. It's okay to post if the two companies had good nights or bad and it's okay to criticize both, not one, both. You still fail to see the point.
You don’t have any set moral beliefs, given that they change depending on which company it is.
And I don’t consider myself to wave an AEW flag. It’s a soulless corporation just like yours. That’s the thing a corporate shill/unashamed fanboy cannot comprehend. The day AEW starts to become nothing but vignettes, replays, entrances, cartoon characters, surface level psychology, scripted cookie cutter promos, twenty minute soap opera segments, and lazy slop that disrespects its own fans by calling the most passionate of them marks, guess what I won’t be doing? Watching. Plenty of people are watching the show because it’s the best thing for us RIGHT NOW, and if it weren’t we would be out.
And there isn’t a post you can make about empty seats, or market share or anything else that will make wrestling fans stop caring about what happens after the bell rings.
That’s fair.Let's just enjoy the thread and stop trying to dictate what others say. Deal? I've never said you or anyone else here can't have an opinion but sometimes we will disagree. Let's you and I not do the personal stuff. I've seen you try to steer the thread away from numbers talk. Let's let that happen. It's a wrestling thread. Last thing, I can promise you what I said this morning did not need all of this today. Laparka was right. This is exhausting and for what? All because Meltzer posted some report which some, including AEW fans online, said wasn't needed after this past weekend with two successful shows and PAC dying. He's just as tribal and loves stirring the pot just as fans do. I'll continue posting my thoughts occasionally and you do the same.
Dude seriously? Worlds Collide was already taped and was going to be aired on YouTube. They could have hit one button and had it release 4 hours later or a day later. There’s also the fact that the ONLY reason that time and date was picked in the first place was to try and hurt Dynamite’s rating.Dude, please stop. You're not an insider. Dave is pushing an agenda because he wanted the wrestling world to watch his preferred show and is using a wrestler's death to put shame on WWE and you're following along.
