So the comments by one fan and a coach is what motivated Clinton to play well tonight? If that's what is motivating this team, they certainly wont win a title.
Give Johnson and his players credit. They were definitely the better team tonight. I'm believing that's because they were better prepared not just "motivated" by NCPreps comments or a press conference soundbite.
The Horses are the better team, especially at this point in the season. It's not about blaming, it's about credit.
I given all the above credit all offseason it’s your fans that have so much to say about Cory Johnson and this team. The one fan mentioned above had the most to say along with UNC91 aka SWO87 whatever screen name he will pop up with next so yes they gonna eat this crow.

Bro, it's a message board, you can say whatever you want to or about those guys. But to insinuate that the reason the Horses played well was due to comments by the manager of Food Lion is ludicrous. Lol. And again, if that's the case then this week would be your Super Bowl, and we both know that's not the case. Clinton is too great a program to put all their emphasis on one non-conference game. Now all jokes aside. We will see them again. CK and those backs and oline are talented and Wallace goes as far as that offense takes them but that defense needs some work. Good job by them making that adjustment when they started to go fast to the line that gave us some trouble. Bottom line I’m proud of the team and the coaches they have worked they butts off so far good win but it’s only week 2 a lot of football left to play. Good night and Go Horses!!!!!

Enjoyed the game. What a showing by Clinton. I don’t think Clinton needed the “smack talk” to motivate them to win, but it certainly didn’t help Wallace’s chances. I’d never poke the bear.
