Message: <blockquote data-quote="The Bell Tolls for Thee" data-source="post: 131863482" data-attributes="member: 1812660"><p>That's what happens when trying to be great.  There is always a chance you could do worse, but you never will get better if you stand pat.  Stew inherited a high flying program in a very winnable conference and progressively worsened the program across 3 seasons.  His refusal to acknowledge that perhaps 3 years of stagnant offense and losing the conference despite a defense giving up less than 13 ppg pretty much sealed that Stewart was unlikely to get WVU to where Nehlen and RR did.  Just because Holgs and Brown are not the answer, it doesn't mean Stewart was.  He had us on track to be somewhere between here and Dana's better years.</p></blockquote><p></p>
