WV is going to have a clearer idea about Alston and Miller by the end of spring camp.

If everything for WV goes right Alston could play the Bandit position and Miller can be starting CB.
Think LSU had questions about his fludity to stick at the CB position.
But I think playing the ball in the air and getting your head around are more important.
Fluid hips don't help if you can't see the ball
Norwood plays the ball well in the air but just doesn't have the size to matchup one on one with bigger WRs.

Alston is only person I see being able to play that hybrid position.
Don't know how explosive he is or his shuffle but he is long.

Gives WV a speed rusher off the edge but also helps with containment.

Only playing with 2 LBs...So using your ends and CBs to keep containment is important.

TCU does a good job at this but with the 4-2-5 the book is out that you attack TCU on the edges.
Oklahoma does this perfectly.

I have read some of what Jordan Lesley has been saying.
He is looking for pieces to his DL.
Has 3 players that pretty much play the same position.

Need someone to step up to clog the middle plus they need ends.

Alston and the LB are going to fight it out for the B Back position.
Might end up removing the position and going to something else.

Alston was a WV recruit under DH.
Funny thing is that Troy wanted him and Jordan Lesley recruited him before he ended up at a JUCO

Don't know what Gibson was going to use him for.

But he as of right now is the most important player for WV on D
If he can play at this level and play early WV doesn't have to change anything.

There is a lot of great information for the 4-2-5.
Also known as the 4-4.
Similar to what Bud Foster had at VA Tech.

The two Safties become LBs.
I think WV has the players to man those positions.

The question like I said is what Vic Koenning calls the Bandit
A hybrid OLB/DE

That is where Alston fits in.

Been saying that West Virginia needs to find players to fit their system since January.

The content I have read reaffirms this.

Can't play a 4-2-5 without ends.
The question is Alston.

Alston came up when I looked at your EE.

The guy who grad transfered from S Carolina to TCU would have been a perfect fit.

Thought WV would bring in a grad transfer.

They may still after spring.

You have?

I haven't been paying attention. Of course, I pay attention to little that you write, there, Master of the Obvious.

Tell you what. Go look up what Texass needs for their system. When you find it, go to the Texass boards and share your wealth of knowledge with them.

When you come back here keep it to yourself. Better yet, don't come back. Why? Nobody gives a damn what you think.

Much better conversation than you usually get on this message board....

Everyone over there is looking for a grad transfer at RB.
They are hoping Feaster decides to transfers from Clemson.
Truthfully I am not worried about Texas' depth at RB.

Pointing out positions to watch during spring camp at West Virginia should be appreciated.
Guess some people never were taught manners.

There is? Good! Go over there.

Again, nobody cares about Texass. Your constant throwing it out there is just trolling.

It isn't appreciated. That is what I have been trying to tell you. Nobody here cares to read what you post. You'll have to bring in your other handles to "like" your post if you want some confirmation.

Respect is earned, not given. My manners are what have been keeping me from really trashing you instead of kindly giving you the suggestion that you need to go.

Never mentioned Texas until you said anything, brother.
